Just keep feeding the Spirit, you're barely born again so you need to nurture that spiritual seed. The wicked one that used to dwell inside of you is very mature because you fed it for many years through desires of the flesh whether it be sex, drugs, or alcohol. So I suggest you keep feeding the Spirit by listening to beautiful powerful worship music, studying the Bible, going to church, and constantly spending alone time with Jeaus. Oh and surrounding yourself around other TRUE CHRISTIANS!

I am ready to surrender myself and live by the word. It hasn't been easy nurturing the spiritual seed and truth be told, I am just beginning. But I am more than committed because the life I lived for so long did nothing but destroy my spirit and leave me empty.

Your love for the Lord really inspires me. You're right about seeing our relationship with Jesus as a RELATIONSHIP. A relationship is choosing to love, choosing to spend time with the Lord, and choosing our words and actions with HIM in mind.

I watched your testimony video about a month ago and I remembered you talking about how you were obsessed with working out, and it reminded me of myself. I started thinking about how I didn’t even like working out but it was something that I’d force myself to do everyday or else I’d “lose” my body. Since then, I only work out when I want to, which is only about once or twice a week. I’ve come a long way from where I was. I also get off of RUclips for days at a time now (another one of my addictions) and instead of always having my headphones in and listening to music (addiction) I just chose to listen to the silence or things around me. I turn off my phone much more often, and I’m starting to care less about my clothes and possessions and how I look to others. Getting rid of those distractions reminds me of the only thing that really matters and is forever (God) ... But anyway thanks for the inspiration!!

The part that resonated with me was giving God glory! I’m a worship leader and people are always telling me what a great job I did and how blessed they are by my worship. Honestly it’s nice to hear, but my instant response, without fail is always: “thank you, all glory to God” or “Glory to God”. For one, I acknowledge that it’s God using/helping me as a vessel to aid his people into being his presence. Two, glory to God because I’m seeing the work that he’s developing in me. I just become humbled because it’s ONLY by his spirit! All glory to God, forever and always! 😃❤️

Thank you so much for your comment on single mothers. That’s something I struggle with a lot, and I also let those types of comments get to me. People always tell me good luck when it comes to finding someone who will “take me seriously” due to the fact I have children.

Unfortunately a lot of men dating coaches tell single men not to talk to single mom's who have more than 2 kid's. Vivian is right though, GOD will put the right men in your life, I have 2 homegirls who have 5 kids each by multiple baby daddies & they changed their lives & GOD put the right men in their life.

Amen with the exercising response you gave! In senior year of high school, I used to be so into fitness and I idolized it and was working out for the sole purpose of attaining a certain body shape and was never happy with appearance. Now fast forward to being a senior in college, I'm working out again now, but the three year "fast" from working out, my mind completely changed on why I need to workout. I now workout for my health rather than attaining a certain body shape. I workout to reduce my back pain and inflammation and I workout to be able to do my physical job. The sculpted body is a byproduct, my health is the main focus. Fasting from working out was such a blessing in my life bc I don't idolize it like I used to and do it for the wrong reasons. I KNOW how challenging it can be to want to encourage and share with others your experiences, and then have certain individuals (could be family, could be friends) that are nosy to hear what you might say about them or “someone like them.” Your Kingdom courage is admirable.
When we want someone to come to Christ, we love them enough to warn them of hellfire, tell them the gospel, minister to them and tell them to repent of their sins. Whether they accept or reject it, their blood is not in our hands, let God deal with them when we present the truth, they have no excuse on the day of judgement. We love the sinner but not the sin. It hasn’t be easy, but having this close relationship with Him means everything to me. I have mourned for the years I wasted on the world. It’s a healing process He takes us through. He leaves the 99 to find the 1. We all matter. You matter and He will complete the word He started in you. We are here for you brother!

I really like the part when you said not honor your parents if it goes against the word of God. My mother doesn't want me to go to church because she believed she saw something evil. But when I'm in that church I feel happy not just happy but joyful. And it puts a smile on my face when I'm there. At this time she still won't let me go but I pray God changes her mind.

Welcome back (natural self) you know what I like and respect about you? You understand that Jesus is your first love and why He is so important in your life over everything. You are willing to lay down your earthly nature and pick up your cross while being aware that there is a cost associated with this. You are young but you understand this all the same. You realize that you were not to live a life on earth as so many other women do having fun experiencing so many different men sexually. You're not ashamed of your decision and you don't resent putting your hand to the plow even though you have your days... I personally love to watch God work in people's lives transforming them into His likeness. I'm one of those you mentioned to be single and celibate for God but it's all good because He is my everything. He even created a beautiful sunset in the background for you while you made this video.
