I am very happy I met you on RUclips, following you has no regret at all. I love everything about you Ma'am Fumi. I wish I can achieve a little of your numerous talents.
Just stormed on this today! Such a great interview. Very warm, calm, & enlightening... I learned something new about Aunty Fumi today. Great host, great guest. Both of you are just made for TV. I need to come take classes with you both. Please let me know when I can come. All in all, I'm happy I saw this and decided to watch. Thank you ma'am.
Queen Fumzy!!! You would make a great Nigerian politician out of yourself at the time of this interview, five years ago😀😀😀 To truthfully answer the question Queen Fumi put out here to us at the end of her interview, and some of the questions that the interviewer asked her, truth be told, we Africans do NOT have both true and selfless love for each other! Our love for one another is ALWAYS, ‘what is in it for me? What do I get back?’ When we say that “there is enough for everybody,” it starts and ends there in our mouths; it’s just a word of mouth, so it’s just a phrase that is NEVER put to use or, actions! ENOUGH IS NEVER ENOUGH FOR ANYBODY, if there is no set of people to put checks and balances in place. Hence, I’m only here explaining what Queen Fumi, already diplomatically (positive criticism-ly) answered herself: Why are we the way we are? We are the way we are because of POWER AND GREED As a proud AFRICAN myself, I am profoundly ashamed to publicly say this about us. But it is the truth, and it’s about time we all except this embarrassing traits of ours, so that we can begin to work on how we can be better as individual and as individuals May GOD Almighty help us make this positive change that we desire so much possible soon, in the precious name of our LORD, JESUS CHRIST we are asking, AMEN!🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾♥️♥️♥️
I totally disagree with your statement about black Americans not having roots, and therefore, did not have the stance, as you did. What a terrible representation and over simplification of Black Americans. But for black Americans fight for civil rights, you would not have had the opportunities that you enjoyed in America. Are you saying that Vanessa Williams, who helped you, did not know who she was? It is due to the strong foundation and stance that many black Americans have that has caused them to overcome so much adversity. White racism is so deep in America that oftentimes whites will favor Africans over black Americans. If your knowing who you are and having stance is responsible for your success, why were you not able to rise to the level of success in Africa as you did in America? Having roots is not about being born in Africa. Is is about knowing who you are.
JLJ That is true and I always say we owe it to the forebearers of the African-Americans’s fight for civil rights looking at the great opportunities we have for benefited from today. We would never be able to pay them back but we must and I will always show respect to the African-American. I understand what Fumi is trying to say, it’s a historical thing, same thing with blacks in Europe. It is no debasement of them, God forbid. It is just the way it is. I am married to them, so that’s how it is.
@@rocklandrockland2680 I am just seeing this comment now .First of a lot of Africans may or may not acknowledge black American struggles. An African person is truly a lover of their country Africa plus carry a love for each other and unify.I do see that .
@@jacquelinefransaw6911 Jackie, you think so? United? Hmmnn, I don’t see that. They are not really United. They undermine each other at a critical time when unity is required. Been there.
@@jongoldsby Don't you think your hatred of Africans will lead to the same thing if opportunity presents itself? I don't think what she said about having roots was untrue. Most of Americans can trace back the country where their ancestors came from but it's rarely the case for AA. It's quite similar to the adopted child who does not know its biological parents that's all ... nothing to be ashamed of. Each of us human beings is a potential sellout out of greed, hatred, jealousy, envy, love, etc.
THANK YOU my dearest Princess for you grace and hospitality. It was a pleasure coming on your show. :-)))
