- It's that time again. Time to make our Christmas Goodies. We had some questions and requests from last years video that we will address this time. We are making our old standby recipes and a few more.

Reeses Squares
16 crushed graham crackers
2 cubes melted butter
1 bag milk chocolate chips
1 bag reeses chips
1 can sweetened condensed milk
Turtles
Small pretzels
Rolo canndies
Pecan halves
Macaroons
1 bag sweetened coconut
6 ounces nuts
2 egg whites
1 tsp vanilla
1 can sweetened condensed milk
Dark chocolate
Rocky Road
1 bag semi sweet chocolate chips
1 bag butterscotch chips
1 bag reeses chips
1 bag mini marshmallows
2 cups rice crispies
Peanut Clusters
1 bag milk or semi sweet chocolate
12 oz coctail peanuts
Candied Walnuts
2 cups walnut halves
1 egg white
⅓ cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
¼ tsp cinnamon
English Toffee
4 cubes margarine
2 cups sugar
1 cup finely chopped almonds
½ cup coarsely chopped almonds
1 bag semi sweet chocolate

😂 some people just blow my mind.. How about hitting the pause button and write the things down.. Like we have done for years.. What's next they going to demand this sweet man to come make it for them as well. I bet they will fuss when they see the directions to prepare are not with the recipe ingredients.. Lol.. Always someone who is never happy.. I say just smile and move on and let them figure stuff out for themselves. Being a channel creator is work

I have a little tip for you. When you use the condensed milk, if you set the can in warm water for about 10-15 minutes, it will come out of the can so much easier.
And will smooth out nicely over whatever you’re pouring it in.
Great tip!
If you put the condensed milk in a crock pot overnight on low overnight it will turn to dulse de leche or caramel next morning wait till it cools then open or it will explode if you open it when hot.
@@josiedelgado7504 I've done this using boiling water on the stove top. This takes about 3 hours. Then cool.
But I like this idea of using a crock pot... Thank you

A microwave safe bowl means not ONLY can it go in the microwave, BUT, the bowl does not get hot.

I've never seen Rocky Road made with Rice Krispies b4; it's such an unusual take, but looks delicious. My sister-in-law used to make her's with Chocolate, Marshmallows, & Peanuts~ it was delicious too!

What you're calling Turtles, because we make them for Christmas, here in Central Texas we call them Reindeer Tracks. 🥰

Or you could take in chopped up Meschino cherries, pieces of pineapple and coconut as I said using the white chocolate to drizzle and then decorate them with whatever color she want to decorate with the yummy

Do you know what you could do is use the coconut and everything and get the dried pineapple to hydrated and get those in the little tiny pieces and put those in with the coconut you could even put a little tap of cinnamon in there with it and then do it off but that would be so tasty you can always take a put a little piece of pecan on top of it before you stick them in the oven! Instead of using chocolate you could use white chocolate

Thank you so much for sharing your recipes. When watching last year’s video you said not to stir at all on the almond toffee but this year you are stirring some. I’m trying this out today. I will try a combination of the two. 😊

@@markellyfarm The first batch was perfect! The 2nd was good but more soft than crunchy. It was very humid in East Texas today.
@CATZ312 sounds like the second batch didn't get hot enough. You will get it. 290 to 300 degrees f. On a candy thermometer if you have one.
@@markellyfarm you know what? I thought that might be it. I got it to 295 the first time and quit right at 290 the 2nd time. Thanks for the tips.
It should look like dark peanut butter and almost start sticking to the pot.
