Usually I really enjoy GG content and enjoy watching but for me, when videos are 1-1/2 hours long, my interest and attention are low. Keep ‘em under 45-50 minutes, it’s entertaining…after that, I personally start getting bored. Maybe it’s just me 🤷♂️
Saw the GG commercial for Dick's/Golf Galaxy this past weekend. The play on Scharff's par-4 ace to promote the 4x reward points was pretty clever. Wasn't sure you covered it, but I loved it!
I’m just glad GG went away from trying to say everyone was a scratch golfer. The early videos where they said Steve was a scratch golfer were just pointless. Glad they are showing the real deal now
I noticed in the comments on the latest gg golf video with the decades of golf balls there were a number that mentioned they’d never heard of gg till Steve and Garrett played golf with sketch and I believe it as he had more people asking for photos than grat and steve
If the MidWest open doesn't have more big name RUclips golfers than skateboarders ect. Then the question is why? Will it be over content release or travel expense? If their is no Grant, Micah, Bryan Bro's and some UK golfers. Is this really a RUclips golfer event? Now we are hearing some pro's may be teamed up. As a fan, I'll watch in hopes the names are there.
Respectfully disagree with you about being good for them in the long run. They already are setting themselves above most you tubers and this will create a even bigger divide between them and most you tubers. Imho you have grant,bryan bros,bustajack, tig,kwon and sean,dod king,pause king collaborations that are better golf. Going away from golf to celebrity status is ok if golf is youre secondary purpose,how many putters and balls are non golfers going to buy js.

YT golf is either 1) instruction, 2) reviews, 3) sponsored stuff like Callaway creators play 3 holes with a Callaway pro (I like anything with pros; getting to know them better), 4) fringe pros vloging their journey (also like a lot), 5) small subscriber amateurs, 6) goofy challenges, 7) the main goofy guys playing matches with each other. Hater part: The problem with 6 and 7 is they are country club kids with punchable faces and zero personality. YT golf needs a Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee except on the course. Need writers or jokes or stories or actual interview skills when collaborating with a pro. I have zero interest in watching X playing Y for the 10th time. Examples of good recent content: the Q (actual stakes), Kwon playing with friend Anser and Sergio (got to know Anser and he’s cool!), BTS of Wesley’s 2nd place. I really want to see people try to qualify for the US Open and Open. What’s that like? They don’t have that on Golf Channel. That “Kings of…” thumbnail makes me think of Rob Riggle at the Catalina Wine Mixer talking about Will Ferrell’s face. Then again, my kids love Mr. Beast. So what do I know?

The mental component of his game is what is keeping him from being consistently good and shooting lower scores.He doesn't know if he wants to be a you tube golfer or go pro! How do you have an opinion over a video you clearly didn't watch? He committed to a new mental approach, which he highlighted in the beginning of the video, and shot a 67 because of it. And Tom, respectfully, you don't exactly come off as like-able yourself.

100% agree the 1 and half hour ones definitely start to get tough to watch sometimes unless it’s a really good video
It’s a movie at that point in which I don’t even want to start, haven’t watched Good Good in months
Yeah but if it’s a Luke Kwon video with taco make that video 3 hours and I’m watching the entire thing - GG videos are just stale and boring
The other thing that gets me is when its scramble and you have to watch every shot hit 6x I dont usually get past the first 2 holes

I watched enough to know I didn't want to watch anymore. Micah has changed his approach 10 times since he left good good and none have worked!
