    To cut 18 mm of pine wood (soft wood) in one pass, what speed should be set? is the edge very burnt?

      @RobinsFunPlaytime  4 месяца назад +1

      I would recommend 250mm/min speed and 100% power using 70w mode. The egde should be ok with this speed. Make sure the air assist is on and focus according to 18mm wood.

    Would love to see how well and fast it can anodize stainless

      Unfortunately I packed away the K1 to work on my new 3d printer video. But I will make sure to demonstrate this on Atomstack's new 70w engraver. Which I will review in May

      @@RobinsFunPlaytime Awesome! Theoritically with higher air pressure through the air assist nozzle, say hooked up to a small compressor, the 70w diode should actually be able to cut through thin enough stainless sheets.

      I believe it should cut through 1mm stainless steel in 3 passes. I will try and show the results.

    Awesome. How good is this 35/70w is doing when coming to photo reproduction, details and so on. Or even 3d photo engraving? I saw first engraving in this video, but was not convinced. Appreciate it

      Thanks, technically, when the number of individual lasers decreases, you usually get better engraving results. So for 70w module will not be as good as 35w. I believe that for engraving images, the best results will be achieved using 20w laser modules. So, if you are looking for a detailed engraving, 20w module with COS technology will give you the best results. It all depends on the spot size. Although I achieved reasonably good results on Ikier 35w module. Regarding 3D engraving, unfortunately, I have not tried any. But soon, I will be reviewing the Atomstack X70Max I can try on that. The results should be pretty similar.
