Wedding Sunnahs
• Walimah lasts for 3 day. Keep it simple but hold it for 3 days as how our Prophet Muhammad SAW held his wedding to Safiyyah bint Huyayy for three days.
• Invite righteous people/ person with taqwa to the walimah
• Do not only invite the rich to the walimah and ignoring the poor
• To have good food at the walimah. Our Prophet Muhammad SAW slaughtered a goat for his walimah with Zaynab bint Jahsh
• Do not go overboard with spending for the walimah. Have a walimah that is within your means.
• Contribute to the walimah you are attending. Bring sweets or food to share at the walimah.
