As a plus sized girl ( and i know it isn't their faults ), i literally feel so insecure right now. This will be my first year going to prom, and the thought of being surrounded by a lot of beautiful women who i could never look like scares me. I hope i will find a dress flattering to my body type so i won't feel as insecure about it.

Yeah I understand that. I've been struggling with my body,, like I'm not skinny, I'm not fat, I'm just thick/chubby. And I bought a dress that's a little blanddd and I feel like I could've picked a better dress. Hopefully when it comes in the mail this week I'll end up looking good😅

I’m in what my parents call “the Bar/Bat mitzvah season” which is basically just acknowledging that I have a bar or bat mitzvah pretty much every week. The one coming up is for one of my really close friends, and I absolutely love. It’s a velvet maroon dress, and the sleeves are like the sleeves of Anna’s coronation day dress in Frozen. I felt like a princess when I tried it on the other day, so I can’t imagine how much more like a princess I’m going to feel like when I wear it with my hair and makeup done, and with the matching shoes and jewelry. I’m so excited!
