@@andretonelli i gotta tell ya, my pick doesnt stay Put, so i stopped this vid and ran over to your plectrum vid. I've been trying to tie down the Triads shapes.
@@trusarmor4957 this way to hold the pick does work, so just try to make yours. And don’t give up on these exercises, they don’t have to be perfect to be useful.
The sync between my picking and the left hand is something I've been working on. There´s some kind of "flam" that happens there (drummer language, sorry). Also, it seems I don't quite get the movement of picking just yet, but what I can tell from seeing you is that we should make a kind of semi-circular motion with the wrist, where we hit the string on a tangent and then pull off. Hard to explain in text. And the right arm position on the guitar is something to look at. I will surely adopt these exercices. Thanks!
Hi Daniel, one of your hands might be slightly faster than the other. Check out this video for a possible fix (or at least some assistance!): ruclips.net/video/OKXsmTRIgFI/видео.htmlsi=afgZjnOETUanUWee As for how I do it, I think of it as floating over the strings at no real angle. Sometimes on videos like this one, I go for clarity and attack, and hopefully I haven’t exaggerated the movement too much.
My guitar teacher taught me not to pick all strings at the same spot. He said to move the picking hand down the upper three strings and then keep the hand in place and do like a circle movement to pick the other three strings. I don't know what is better and what are the (dis)advantages of both techniques.
@@luedinski hi! I would say try both and see what works for you. The reasons for keeping the same technique across all strings seem very appealing to me, though. Andre
Bravo Tonelli
Simple but effective. ❤
Thanks and glad you enjoyed it! Andre

Bravo indeed. Thank you.
Thank you too! Andre
Great.... A new form of torture with the 24 permutations.🤣
😂
Sorry about that. You know what, I’ll make it even worse on Patreon. Stay tuned and thanks for the idea! Andre

Thank you for your guitar tutorials and exercises, I can see and feel the progress I have made during the past month.
@@patriciofuentes24 right on Patricio, that so great to hear! Andre
Long time beginning guitar player, (mostly a chord strummer) acoustic type. Wanting to get better at last. Thanks for the exercises.
