How Many Comm Bans for a Perma Ban on Xbox One? (Xbox One Ban Speed Run)

- How many Communication Bans does it take to get a Permanent Ban from Xbox LIVE? We speed ran this and got to work! I created a new gamertag for this specific purpose to see how many bans it takes for a perma ban. In all honesty, there is no clear answer since multiple factors fall into this such as: words used, reason, length of suspension, consistency, etc. But if you have gotten a few bans/suspensions by the Xbox LIVE Enforcement Team and wanted to know how many would lead to a total permanent suspension, watch this video and use it to get a general idea. On my main account, I have around 20+ Communication/Xbox LIVE bans and I have not been perma banned on that gamer tag. Reason why is because these bans did not occur in a consistent basis such as on this gamertag shown in this video. But it doesn't mean you're exempt from a perma ban.
Xbox LIVE Enforcement doesn't tell anyone or give out any information on questions like this. They do not publicly talk about Xbox Enforcement Action to apparently "protect its users." But as loyal customers, we should have access to this information since we are paying for this service and since the Xbox LIVE Enforcement Team does wrongfully suspend some of its users. Xbox LIVE Support does not even provide any details about these suspensions because they cannot pull up banned accounts and they simply don't have access to this information.
Hopefully this video helps you out. Do NOT use this video as an ACCURATE answer but only as a comparative for a general idea. Perhaps one day, we'll get an accurate answer? Who knows. But for now, we'll stick to what we have, thanks to Xbox LIVE Enforcement...

When I try to appeal my ban(s), Xbox "Enforcement" just denies them. When I also report someone, they never get banned. The only time I report people is when they report me.
I used to report people back then, but I don't do that anymore because 1. I'm not a snowflake, 2. You can literally get DDoSed just by reporting someone and it's happened to me before. Booters can't just realize that they can use an alt account to evade their ban. And 3. It's cringe because it proves how much of a snowflake you are if you report someone.

No. All bans stay on your record forever.

You’re VERY far from a perma ban, but there is no 100% accurate answer. My main account has over 15 comm bans. The account in this video only had about 8. Some people claimed they had 3-4 comm bans before a perma-ban.
Seeing as how you only had 2 comm bans that were very far apart, I would be surprised if you got perma-banned soon. You should be fine. :)

I got my first 2 week full suspension yesterday while I was already on a 28 hour suspension. My two week one I can’t even get online on anything. I can only watch netflix. It’s such a joke. Never had this problem when I used to play PlayStation. June 4th can’t come fast enough. Kids are too soft now a days

The banning system makes no sense. I got my account suspended for four days for a first time offence, after responding to a trash talker over Xbox messages.

No. Any ban stays on the record for that gamertag permanently.

Don't worry, you won't get permanently banned. Don't let it stress you. After a while, old messages cannot get you banned. If this is your first time being suspended, you absolutely have nothing to worry about. Just refer to the video for a general idea of how many bans it takes to get a perma-ban. Like I said, it can be different for everyone. But I promise you, you won't get permanent banned after you complete the 14 day suspension. Just play Xbox safely and report toxic players. Don't engage in toxic gameplay and you should be fine. :)

My friend just got permanently ban because his gt was bootyhunter which he had since Xbox 360 and it has over 100,000 gamer score. I guess since the new policy the gt bootyhunter was inappropriate for kids! He tried everything to get it back but nothing. He switched to ps5 because of it.

It's it just me or recently does it seem like profanity isn't enough to get communication bans anymore? I play a lot of pvp and occasionally I get a salty message that contains profanity and sometimes I troll them a little bit until I get bored then report the profanity to communication ban them but recently it hasn't been banning them.
Edit to add: Ive also apparently been reported for calling a dude a dumbass recently and haven't gotten a com ban so it's not just me assuming nothing's happening.

Imagine banning players for profanity. Imagine selling games like GTA where a player can pay for a prostitute, have sex, then kill her to get your money back. Games like COD where you can blow a person to pieces during brutal combat. Games like High on life, where Cocaine use is glorified right from the start. Imagine banning players in games for swearing at others who play these games, where many games, if not all, ARE MADE FOR ADULTS! Some games even have profanity filters.
The problem isn’t the swearing, the problem is HOW EASY it is to report and get players banned. Toxic players come in the form of players who search for responses within games, wait to be contacted and happily report knowing the consequences for the other player. Xbox need to rethink how they approach banning. Maybe they need to look at the player reporting, and see if this player loves to report on others. Maybe the reporting players are the issue online and what their intentions are.
Xbox have a care of duty to ALL players, that includes those that are reported. The banning process is so biased towards the reportee over the reported, this needs to change.

Well they don't like that very much lol.
I got ddosed last night and reported the guy I know did it, yet nothing will happen. It has me to the point where I just can't even play certain games where that can happen now. I just got a series X and have a bunch of games on a new profile, so I can't afford to get banned again lol
