    The triangle subpixel pattern is to compensate different light output from different colors which leads to subpixels of different sizes. And borders are quite wide to mitigate QD excitement from the light of neighbor subpixels.

    is there white LED for QLED? I saw something like that and I couldn't understand the physics in it. Without an UV or BLUE light, lights how bandwidth can trigger Qdot layer?
    Also great video to understand QD techs, thanks!

    I wonder why we see no lcds with quantum dot color conversion

      Nearly all of the "QLED" branded TVs you can buy (and there are many) are QD color conversion via an optical film in the backlight. It is not done at the pixel level within or after the LCD since QDs depolarize light and therefore would interfere with how the LCD polarizers operate, which is why it is implemented before the LCD in the optical path.
