1:50 The "you've gotta be kidding me" absolutely killed me in theaters. My wife was the one who wanted to watch this film and back then we were going every couple of weeks to watch a movie. This is definitely one of the best films we ever saw together in theaters. This scene was beautifully done, the kind of magic that only animation can make possible. Johnny's dad finally accepting his son while Mike belts out this classic was the best part of the film for me.
You can tell Seth is amazing as a voice actor , he acted the part perfectly every nudge every moment it would be taken the air out of the character , every moment the stomach would churn and make him sing higher for being lifted of the ground
Yea but Mike isn’t such a jerk at the end of the movie during Meena’s performance he makes a look that shows he has been such a jerk but he ends then he yells YAHHOOOO and starts dancing to her music but that is when the bears snatch him from the his back
When we get to the line "regrets, I've had a few..." as Johnny's dad makes his way over to reconcile with his son whom he previously disowned, only to realize that was wrong of him... poetic cinema.
It’s also an ironic song for Mike to sing since it may be his final curtain as a result of doing this his Shady way. It’s implied the mafia bear boss are him.
1:27 "I'm so proud of you." I can't be the only one who got a little teary-eyed at that moment. That's something all of us, at one point, wanted to hear from our fathers.
In the Philippines, Frank Sinatra's "My Way" is dubbed as the last song you'll ever sing because most ppl who've sung this in most karaokes end up dying or disfigured from a bar fight. Ironically, this might also be Mike's Last Song ever.
Im sorry, but this was the best performance in the entire movie, the drama, the scene, the song really fit so well in every part of the scene. Kudos to Seth for giving us his beautiful voice ✨
Well, that's because Seth, as Mike, does an amazing douchebag. You hate his character so much that all the other characters are so much better by comparisson.
Even though before his father said to him "How did I end up with a son like you, eh? You're nothing like me." But 8n this scene he says I'm so proud of you"

I am pretty sure, it is still attached to the ground but half of it got stuck in one of the decorations of the top of the stage, like if you were to attach a rope to the ground but also throw the other half over a tree branch you could still swing from the other end that went over the tree branch.
The mic STAND actually is what stops him from flying away. For a while anyways. Eventually, he flies up with the mic, grabs hold of it and bam. The cord probably ran up the sage and to the rafters.
On our 8th grade trip to washington D.C. my teacher sang this song to honor his fallen comrade during dinner one night.. Hearing it again brought me to tears
The fact that Mike probably knew this would be his last chance to perform- knowing he was going to be killed by bears or he would have to skip town and go into hiding to survive- shows that the song choice was incredible
He really was the most similar to his character baseline (Frank Sinatra) in this movie. Frank was known for his short temper, showmanship, and sarcastic attitude he had for people he believed were less talented or influential than him, it's why he kept ties with organized crime so much.

Mike wasn't at the ending scene of the first movie, and he wasn't anywhere in the trailer of the second movie as well. The last scene we saw Mike in was a scene from the first movie, when he managed to escape with his girlfriend from the bears mafia he owed money to, but he didn't notice that one of the bears was on his car. That's the last time we ever saw him. Bro, Mike died (and I guess so did his girlfriend).
