That's exactly what I was going to do at first. But I starter to research different types of "stand thermostat " designs, like the old v1 utilizes and figure it out.
@@Almostboosted hey quick question are u running AC? ...i see from the video u are not running a PS .....would like to know what size belt you running and radiator fan...(part no etc if u have it) thanks 👍 nice vid, great content
Hey, thank you . No I'm not running AC I believe is 50 or 52in 7 v rib came with the ktuned k24 idler pulley. And the radiator fan a 12in spall fan 1700 cfm.
I had to re use the old one since Integra one is to bulky to fit in the K-series Swivel thermostat housing. Let me see if I could research it and I will update you.
@@Almostboosted I ended up using the gasket that came with the thermostat housing and I used an oem GSR thermostat. Works perfect with no overheating. Thanks again for making this video!
I tried it it works great I drilled the holes like you said as well
Thats awsome! Thank you for sharing your feedback. I love this set up, budget friendly.

Mine worked for 3yrs but should really last a lot longer I bought on from Japan whole housing and assembly
Try this is been on my car since 2020
one thing i found old type bolts direct to the water pump housing with out the plastic section if u dont plan on running heater core
How many extra holes did you drill on the thermostat and what size hole?
I cut the tap to open up the first hole. Then I drill two 1/8 in extra holes.
Great info man, thanks.
Thank you 🙏
I was going to buy the version 2 ktuned neck that allows you use oem thermostat=$200 but I think I’ll go this route instead thanks for sharing 👍

Thank you for the update! I'm glad I was able to help. At what Temps does the GSR thermostat opens?
So this type r thermostat will work with no problem right
