Yeah the sounds of the guns just don't hit as hard as MW2019. The visual kick and the overall smoothness of the animations are pretty good though. - Brandon
Agreed. I've seen dozens of upon dozens of comments from people that love the music despite not being fans of the game. Appreciation of music is a trait I think we all share. - Brandon
I didn’t even realize 3:42 and 10:58 were different, but when listening to them I think I like 3:42 more. But I’m actually surprised they included 4 themes
Same man. I had to wait at the multiplayer menu for another 10 minutes just to make sure I wasn't hearing things. Given it's Sledgehammer I think they're repeating what they did in AW (I think it had about 3 or 4) but these are actually amazing to listen to and not 20 second mini themes put on loop until we load the menu again. - Brandon
I always go back to these menu themes on how good they are hearing more of the guitar and bass playing I wish they would have kept all of em to hear 2 versions of the themes instead of the remade versions .. 🥺 I'm glad to hear this in the beta and alpha when I played it and thought these are the main key themes for this game..! But I was okay with the remade version at first but after awhile I wanted the beta themes back!
Yeah Vanguard experienced what Cold War did with its themes. Vanguard remixed the Beta themes and Cold War increased the vocals from the Beta version. I personally liked the Beta versions better as well. They sound "purer" if that makes any sense. - Brandon
Like the Alpha the menu theme often ends abruptly. I tried listening through several times but they either start before another one completely ends which muddles it all or one just stops immediately and the next one starts about 5 seconds later. No real solution for those cutoffs unfortunately. - Brandon
Now that's an interesting idea. A separate Gunsmith section with it's own background and layout. Maybe like layout we had in the Black Market from BO3 and BO4 minus the microtransactions and aesthetic bundles. - Brandon
Yeah I'll admit these are good but don't have the same old school 40s atmosphere that the COD 1-3 and WW2 had. Maybe we'll get even more themes when the game fully releases and they'll stick closer to traditional WW2 themes. - Brandon
brandon are you going to be making a secrets of the pacific menu music? i know they changed it in warzone but i’m not sure if it’s also changed in vanguard
I didn't even know about that until you told me. I can confirm the menu music has not changed in Vanguard's main menu, Multiplayer, or Zombies on console at least so it looks to just be a Warzone exclusive music change. I don't play Warzone so most of these events just fly over my head. Thanks for the heads up. I did search the music and a few people posted videos of the music a few days ago when it dropped. They deserve the views for being on top of that one, but thanks again for bringing it to my attention. - Brandon
Oh man if they remastered that it would probably send some of the real old fans over the edge. I was waiting for the MW2 or MW3 menu themes to be remastered or for some of the spawn themes to get remakes in MW2019. Tad disappointed they didn't do some classics like the USMC, Spetsnaz, or Task Force 141. - Brandon
I preferred the beta versions although the final versions were pretty good as well. Shame even they all got removed for Season 1. I thought for sure they were just going to add a new theme or two to the rotation instead of getting rid of all four from Season 0. - Brandon
@@ByTheBayGameZ if the new theme ends while you’re afk the game will cycle the old themes from preseason again. But as soon as you come back, the next theme on the rotation automatically becomes the season 1 one.
Not sure man sorry. I haven't had a chance to listen through the official soundtrack yet, but this is from the Beta. There's a chance that this isn't in the OST or a different version is used. - Brandon
Yeah save your money man. Couldn't have been more disappointed with how Zombies turned out. I didn't pay to get a rehash of multiplayer and old Zombies maps for what should be a new Zombies experience. I expected more with Treyarch at the helm. - Brandon
Honestly I'm not too psyched about a MW2019 reskin, but I'm hoping the campaign and the Zombies make up for the amount of rehashing in the multiplayer. - Brandon
I'll give the Multiplayer and Campaign a solid nod but the Zombies is pretty disappointing. I was expecting at least one unique Zombies map. I can't speak for everyone but I like to think we played Zombies with the expectation we're not going to be playing on Multiplayer and old Zombies maps. - Brandon
I know right? My first game of the Beta I was just shocked they copied so much. The animations for the player's movements, the visual gun kick (MW2019 gun kick is more omnidirectional or warped at an angle from your point of aim compared to previous COD's and Cold War. Hence more "realistic" which is easier to see with a reflector or red dot sight), the animations for the field upgrades, the UI and layouts in the multiplayer menu, etc. I commented for the last 2 years that Activision should share IW's modded engine with the other developers for consistency like graphics but this was just ridiculous. - Brandon
A reason why too they copied so much is they didn’t even have a year to make this cod or give it much of an identity for itself it’s basically just MW2019 with slight differences and With WW2 Guns and entirely new maps
@@ByTheBayGameZ I think it will flop, the fact they have to announce a new and improved anti-cheat says it all really, aswell as grandiose of "pre-loading" the game which basically every game does nowadays when you preorder. Only good thing as usual will be campaign and zombies (and ost)
0:00 for the first theme, 3:42 for the second theme, 7:24 for the third theme, and 10:58 for the final theme. - Brandon
There is a particular violin medley which is amazing I can't find it , i heard it when I was in the lobby
12:27 is what I came for
Hoping they don't change the music too much in the full release. Big fan of each of these. - Brandon
This is nice, considering we have 4 theme songs and all of them are really good... I wish the gun sounds could be as good as these :(
Yeah the sounds of the guns just don't hit as hard as MW2019. The visual kick and the overall smoothness of the animations are pretty good though. - Brandon
Forgetting about all that hate and SBMM controversy, i love each new cod's main menus and soundtracks.
And on Vanguard will be no different. 👌

why is it 3 years already?
5:30 one of the best moments
I think it's that violin at 4:48 that makes me prefer this version more than the other one. - Brandon
First theme would fit for the gunsmith menu.
Now that's an interesting idea. A separate Gunsmith section with it's own background and layout. Maybe like layout we had in the Black Market from BO3 and BO4 minus the microtransactions and aesthetic bundles. - Brandon
The first theme is actually sick
Same. I wasn't expecting to get Red Dead Redemption vibes in a COD game but I'm not complaining. - Brandon
These are good but I miss "A Brotherhood of Heroes"

Got issues with the game itself but the music's something else. Not like any of the other CODs. Not even the WWII ones. - Brandon
Far superior to the new theme of Season One
