Agreed. I think it is because birds cannot sit in front of screens and program each other. She does what the digital generation can't mostly: think and see through the eyes of animals AS conscious beings, not programmable bots.
There are multiple reasons why your channel is growing so well. Not the least of which being you produce good content and are pleasurable to watch and listen to. Thank you.
The idea of Duke screeching at peregrines like an angry old man telling kids to get off his lawn is so charming to me. I get that it's Duke's territory and he's not doing it to be funny but I do find it amusing nonetheless.
Amy my goodness you never dissapoint with all the majestic birds you kindly show us!! Duke is STUNNING!!!!!! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE all those 💕 💕 💕 💕 just gorgeous what a treat Amy Than you you and your feathered friends are beyond WOW!!!!!

Very impressive looking Falcon Amy! Yet another bird species that I had never heard of before. Can't wait to see Duke taking to the skies........... 👍👍😉😉 Be safe..............
I was waiting for him to say "Wow!" or "Boop Boop"... ;o) What a handsome bird he's grown into from that bundle of fluff in the original vid... thanks for re-introducing him to us... As a member my favourite Order of Birds of Prey I am absolutely looking forward to seeing more of Duke... :o)
I was captivated by the vid that was recommended to me online this morning about your 'fab' 😊 Raven, Fable. I subscribed immediately and have just enjoyed the Lanner Falcon vid. Your enthusiasm, obvious love of your birds and excellent filming is captivating and I look forward to watching many more.
I. Can't. Get. Enough! I've become a bird lady at almost 40! I now sit out front every single morning and feed my new friends... They quickly realized I'm a great source of food so I get to watch them every morning. Crows, tons of Blue Jays, Grackles (I think that's what they are called), pigeons that mostly hang out next door but pop over to see what I've got now and again. And I know we have a red tailed hawk too, only saw him with my own two eyes once so far... but he is around every day because boy do the other birds gets angry as all heck when he comes around. 😜 It's a very distinct sound when they are all warning each other. It's incredible, if not for this channel, I would have never even known to look each of these birds up and learn about them... How smart all of these birds are, they all can recognize human faces, are social and loving. They are just incredible little animals and absolutely fascinating. I'm so glad I found your channel. It's actually a blessing to me in a deeper way than 'just' learning to love and appreciate these little creatures. I suffer from some pretty intense PTSD/Depression/General Anxiety and being locked in my home has been... Well, difficult. This is the perfect thing to do to get me outside (and even here in FL it's not too hot in the early mornings), is easy to do and brings joy which always helps chase away the dark. Same with your videos. So glad I found you. 🙂🥰
He’s a gorgeous boy. I look forward to hearing his story and why he stopped flying...Thanks as always for the great and educational content, also for being so responsible and caring with these majestic creatures🌿
Thank you for your (as ever) charmingly delivered and richly informative introduction of this stunningly beautiful bird. Thanks too for alerting us to look forward to seeing him going through his paces after retraining..
Beautiful bird, nothing to add to the other comments. But: Nearly more beautiful is the relationship you have to every single bird you have/train/fly! I like it! Keep it like this! Best wishes from Germany!
Gorgeous bird. I know nothing about falconry and only randomly stumbled upon your Fable videos, but I'm so hooked, and it's a genuine pleasure to watch all your videos. Thank you for giving me something enjoyable to watch during this pandemic.
You are an absolute treat. I know absolutely nothing about falconry and yet I’m drawn to your videos because of the knowledge you share and the kind regard you extend to your feathered family.
125K subscribers! Wow. Great! Congratulations. Great videos. Duke is a beautiful bird. You said his girlfriend had eggs? What does his mate think about that? LOL. Just kidding. Thanks for posting this!
Thank you for the update on this little fella. Love the work you do and I'm so grateful we get to share a glimpse of it here on the tube. Much appreciated!
@@mariek8578 One of the joys of living in a more rurally set town\small city in the UK is that I often see both Red Kites and Buzzards riding the thermals in the skies over head... I can spend hours just doing that, they also ride the Thermals effortlessly... I have also been privileged to see Lanners, and Sakers in the wild out in Turkey, when I was a teenager... and had my breath taken away seeing a wild Peregrine stoop on some pigeons up in the North East UK too...
It’s nice to see how Duke has developed from that earlier video. He is a very handsome lad. Hope the owlets are doing well too, and all the other birds.
I love what you do for the birds. I’m lucky that where we live there is a lot of wildlife. Among some of the birds, we have eagles, hawks, owls, and even osprey as we live on a lake. We’ve always got the binoculars handy so we can check out what’s going on. The education and awareness that you provide the public is so important. You allow people to see the value in these species. I love all the things you’ve taught me. Thanks for sharing your life with us, Amy.
Duke is a very hansome bird😎 I live on the Sunshine Coast in British Columbia. I live in a rural area so coastal woodlands are very close. I often see hawks but rarely see falcon...I do have a long term nesting pair of Bald Eagles less than 100 metres from my house that is an endless joy to watch. So too the many Ravens in the area (my fav.)I often get Barred Owls and the occasional Pygmy Owl. I even had visit from a pair of Great Horned Owls. I've always been fascinated with birds but Corvids Raptors and Hummingbirds are the ones enjoy the most. I am a new sub thankyou for your great content 👍😎
He's so handsome! What a regal Falcon. Love him, and your presentations! I am amazed at your relationship with these amazing birds! Thank you so much..:)
