Love this song by Magne and prefer this to a-has version. I'm starting to realise that alot of a-has songs that I especially love, are written by Magne. He writes and sings from the heart ❤
Mags is a- ha's secret weapon...yes its usually pal that does the bulk of the writing in the band but most of the catchy keyboard riffs are down to mags..
I think Mags writes tons more than we ever get to hear … because if you listen to how Paul says things in a-ha: The Movie, Paul clearly states that he chooses all the songs for their albums, and that he includes anything Magne writes that he thinks is good. In other words, Magne has inevitably written many songs that Paul didn’t like enough to put on any of a-ha’s albums, and so there are likely lots of great songs by Magne (and also Paul and Morten) that we’ve never heard … 🥹🥹🥹
Probably my favourite from Mags. His vocals just compliments the arrangement beautifully. And I do agree with another comment here. This is lullaby material, its lush and calming on the mind !!!
Mags is one of the best song writers of all time. A-ha have always written amazing songs and sadly they are not known for their amazing song writing skills. every single song they wrote is classic and perfection.. even Foothill album which I am not a big fan of but still the songs written on there are amazing.
