I think this is by far my favorite pre-modern Behemoth song. I don't know why, I just have a strange attraction to it.
I remember getting into Behemoth and researching the lyrics and concepts like crazy, specially because I was mildly interested in the occult and religions, so when you understand everything behind Behemoth, it makes it that much more interesting.
What is this song about, I have some knowledge of the occult but I still can’t seem to understand the story behind this song other than the obvious duality theme

Alfred Escobari Definitely some heavy Morbid Angel influence in this song. Although, to me, the riff towards the end of the song reminded me of Blessed are the Sick.

These guys have such an "in your face" sound to them, more so than most other black metal bands do. More like a groove-black metal with their rythim section, the drummer sounds like he's playing inside your skull, and the vocalist is a monster.

I wasn't familiar with this song when it came up on shuffle, and I was like "this really sounds like Morbid Angel... wonder what album", so yeah lol. it really does sound like classic MA from the guitar tone to the vocal style

@@Der_Zeus Yes, they had a Saturday night hour called the Headbangers ball. Every now and then mostly after midnight this might pop up.
It was a truly awesome show. I loved it and would go to sleep to it every saturday. They played sepultura and megadeth and many lesser known metal bands. Truly miss the days of real music TV and emerging art forms, when you could go to sleep watching music videos, and wake up to new music videos.
Thats actually what im doing now, re-creating these playlists of long music videos of what these shows used to be like - for different genres.
