In most cases password protected files have a virus inside because if the zip is password protected windows antivirus can't easily detect it right away
@@joe.. it prevent skids but it can be evaded really easily if you know how to do it, that’s why you need something running at the kernel level, and even with a kernel antivirus it can be tampered and bypassed, your best option is to make your own kernel driver (not a pasted one)
for those wondering this is called a brute force attack, those type of attacks are basically spamming password until one of them works, there are a bunch of way to do that, its slow and unefficent. you usually download a list of the most common passwords and add your most used password on the begin of the wordlist. also there are dedicated tools for zip archive cracking. good job man keep going!
this is not a brute force attack, its dictionary attack, you don't provide a wordlist for brute force tho you can provide minimum-maximum password length or what characters to use and what not to, password generation in brute force is systematic
@@Hrodebert_studio nope he didnt, i am trying to create a python script for that tho (ik it might already exists out there somewhere, i just need more control over the script), for now mine asks for the archive, then proceeds to ask if there's a word list user want to apply if not then it ask for exact length of password if user gives a length it would try every possible combination one by one, if no then t would proceed to ask min-max length if user provides it a range well and good else it goes for the default options, for now it just generates ascii characters but i do plan to make an algorithm that would allow user to have more control over which character should be used for combination generation including latin , and also a checkpoint system so user can run the script whenever he wants to continue
