Looks like it might be an urn for ashes. The note was crazy what I could read of it. I will go back and dig a much deeper hole and put note and jewelry back.
You again proved that coins are out there, in number, even on popular detecting beaches. I don't often match your coin counts. But I once found a nickel spill in the black sand at OB pier with my Manticore. / Best wishes for a quick recovery from your shoulder repair. 😄
@@GreggsTreasures - Not exactly the same but... If Ohtani can keep blasting homeruns while his elbow still recovers from muscle repair-reattachment surgery, hopefully you'll be fine for detecting-scooping. 😃
Very productive hunt. Man speedy recovery when you get your shoulder operated on. Safe Travels Back to Virginia. Lets Get those Relics. Happy Hunting. Peace
Best of luck with your surgery! I will be here awaiting your return even if you are tagging along behind someone while they swing….it will get you out there anyway.
Hi Gregg… always enjoy your videos for sure ! But it makes me nervous watching you detect barefoot , when I used to detect those same beaches mostly Venice and Santa Monica I used to come across glass, can slaw , and yes needles! Good luck on your surgeries. Gregg …Boise Idaho.
@@greggclemeaux5804 thank you Gregg! I went for the longest time always wearing something, but I honestly rarely see anything dangerous in SD, OC, or LA. I think the beaches have cleaned up significantly over the last 19 years. I’ve only seen 2 needles and they were on the boardwalk. I hope my luck continues with no sharp objects getting me. I’m more worried about sting rays
@@GreggsTreasures It has been 20 yrs since I used to work the beaches regularly. That’s good to hear that they have cleaned things up over the yrs. Take care and again good luck on your surgery.
Sounds like you have a serious rotator cuff injury in your left shoulder.. slow, slow recovery with lots of physical therapy! You might wanna put out an ad in the paper in the classified section, for someone to follow you around while you metal detect, to dig the targets! Speaking as a retired nurse anesthetist, I might remind you, nothing to eat or drink after midnight the night before surgery. No 🍸or 🍰 or 🍩 or 🌭..you get the idea? Good luck!

That one jewelry piece looks like a memorial urn for someone to carry someone's ahes with them. They make some lovely pieces. Great video. 💖💯
@@juliegriffin7609 that’s what it turned out being. Thomas will be bringing it back and re-burying it

I hope I can get out shortly after surgery since everything I do below my shoulder line should be ok, but we’ll see.

Man I was shocked that was a tiny urn. Makes sense though.
Trying to catch up on your videos. I was out in Huntington Beach area and had fun found a few coins. Good luck with the surgery
Thank you. It looks like I’ll do maybe 1-2 more hunts in Virginia before my surgery, so I’m looking forward to that. GOLD LUCK to you on the beach!

Thank you Dan!
I'm praying for you and hope your surgery goes well.
Thank you!
I found a piece of jewelry like Thomas at the bay, mine had a blue topaz stone n was stainless steel!
It’s different. He seems to think it might be somewhat of an urn that you can wear as jewelry.

Thank you for that. I have high hopes for a speedy recovery, but have a reality view that it’ll be a while.
