Thankyou for highlighting suicide and men’s mental health. I lost my son to suicide during lockdown in 2020. He was 25💔 Never be ashamed to talk to someone and admit that you’re struggling. Good advice. You’ll be surprised where the real friends are. I cut everyone out of my life, then I tried to drive into the side of a quarry truck. Since then, I’ve bounced back, bigger, better and stronger. If you’re in that place right now, don’t give up. No matter where we come from, we are all in for good times. ❤️
@@Kevcupo you’re welcome. It takes time, doesn’t happen overnight. Finding yourself once you’ve hit that rocky floor is a blessing because going back up and resurfacing is fresh. It’s okay to change, it’s okay to cut people off, it’s okay to live for you and what you need and want out of life. Sod what others may think (which they don’t) just be happy, whether you’re skint or loaded, depression does not discriminate, depression does not care. ❤️
I was once a day patient at a mental health hospital, and one thing that really stuck with me was one of the nurses telling me how many people end up where I was (under care) due to a family member taking their own life and the guilt and trauma it caused

Great Vid Kev. I had diagnosed clinical depression, and talking was not the answer for me. My late Wife had a major breakdown much more serious than mine. And when she got better, she used to speak to people about her breakdown to our friends. And she said that at the end of the day, there is only one person that can help you. (Apart from me her Husband.) and that is “YOU” You can try and be aware that it will come back and bite you! But if it comes back, you have to fight it all over again. I have no issues in my life.A wonderful childhood,as did my wife. If you have a chemical imbalance! Then that needs medication. You cannot fight that without meds. All the talking, all of the councillors,Will make no difference. That was what myself and my Wife were diagnosed with. A chemical imbalance! No early life or Childhood issues. Just a chemical imbalance, and do you know what? That is the worst. Meds and yourself are the only things that can conquer it. Me? It’s just called on me again! And yes it’s only me that can fight it! Sorry if this is a long comment, but it might just help someone. Be Strong!👍
You’ve managed to deliver a really important and heartfelt message with such fragility but with equal amounts of straightforward and sound insight…❤ I think mental health is a very personal journey and by sharing things that have helped you can strike a cord with someone who needs to hear it. I tend to isolate and prefer to deal with my low moods alone too , however, I do know having contact and support is so beneficial. Thanks for highlighting this complex subject Kev, you reach more people than you know x Long message sorry 🙄😊
If youre struggling and have no one to talk to,or dont want to talk...write everything down, anything you feel, burning it after is very good for ones soul, alternatively keep a journal....it works wonders ...its better out than in,ive been there and it literally kept me sane, try to spend time amongst nature,or get a few plants, might sound odd but it helps, anything artistic too,be it drawing, cooking etc ,stay safe and sane everyone in this increasingly crazy world
Couldn't agree more about keeping journals, walking and gardening. It might not be for everyone, I was a lapsed catholic and when I had a blip, I found myself sitting quietly in the back of a church, I kept going to every Sunday mass. Then I realised, what I was doing, I had reached out to God. I slowly untangled my troubled mind and things became clearer to me and I was back in a better frame of mind. Did I analyse myself ? or did God show me the way back.... Well I was in his house...

Good for you for carrying on with Uni, go as long as you want & it is worth it to you. We all have things that goes on in the background that we don't show, we all deal with things differently but sometimes things get bigger than we can handle. I understand that you didn't talk about things previously, but you have come through it & you are here discussing it. You know I have said before that we will always listen to you, Kev & sometimes it's easier to talk to someone completely outside your circle of family/friends/colleagues as that doesn't affect your relationships in day to day life. Give someone the chance to help you & for you to unload what you think about. You are not on your own. Of course it's easier to just put this in a comment but it relates to anyone who's in a position that needs an alternative way of looking at things. As always, Kev, you covered things with humanity & honesty.
Eventually, opening up and asking/begging for help has put me in a worse situation than I ever was!! There isn't the right help or understanding out there. In my experience the only person who can help is myself! I would never again ask for help or tell anyone how I truly feel.
@@nicolacrofts6571 You are quite right in what you said, as that is the experience you have unfortunately had, but you would never have known that it is was not the right thing for you, if you hadn't spoken out in the first place. Spot on about the toughness of talking to somebody, i feel like that advice is mis guided and specific to certain people. I looked for help on the inside, that is the only true way to heal, you need to forgive yourself and forgive others and most of all believe that there is positivity in life. Start with exercise in my opinion
I know what you’re saying there Kev about just going off grid. I was always going out with the lads socialising going to the games having a drink and other stuff, then around 5 years or so ago something just clicked instantly in my head and I didn’t want to do it anymore I stopped going out doing anything with them and barely talk to them guys I’ve known most me life. Now I’m just happy going to work going home spending time with my son that’s it. Have been in dark places to and talking can help sometimes but I think the best cure is yourself picking yourself up and saying I can do this. As for Billy Moore that’s a man many people should appreciate what he does and it’s a shame that people can think doing good for someone is a front and they simply are trying to stir it to something it’s not.
I saw Aaron's livestream where he went to that hotel in Stockport, and he was definitely drunk that night. He had just watched a DJE media livestream that seemed to fire him up. It was his conversation with the security guard you'll probably see in court. They actually arrested him for not giving his details when they asked. His livestream was up on youtube for about 3 days before it vanished. Type the looking glass arrested on youtube as ive just found a channel with most of it on.👍
He definitely whips the camera out after a few drinks. As for DJE media he was that vile creature who put out loads of fake vids when Nicola Bulley was missing and later found dead in the river- he even filmed her being brought out of the river. A pity those lads from the car garage in Birmingham never grabbed him when he ran away crying n hiding n calling the police
Brilliant vlog mate I have been there and you no what mate I done the same I cut every friend I had out of my life and that was 2015 and still don’t talk to them I done the same went on my own walks gym that’s it am so glad you said that because everyone different and it’s nice to hear am not alone and someone else done what I done in cutting people out brilliant vlog 👍👍👍
Thanks, Kev 🙏! So sad to hear of Jonny’s death! Podcasts can be a source of so much hate! You have to ignore the hate. I know it’s easy to say but hard to ignore! Stay safe, mate!
I do have a lot of respect for Billy, I’ve watched him since his early videos - but - I haven’t watched him since that video he shot in Wales. I thought it was in bad taste that he was showing personal photos of the guy who lost his wife. They were family members who might not have wanted to be shown on SM. Although the photos were shared with Billy, I was surprised that he didn’t know better and cut them out. I thought that was a bed move.
i like to watch billy i know so many people that have fallen to hard drugs in the last 20 years and he's so down to earth i can relate easily my only problem is he need to try getting it through to people that its a real problem when these junkies/users hang around in packs and scare the normal people half to death and also help destroy the city centre's they don't bother me but im indifferent to it the pensioners ect are petrified its so sad
Sad to hear another fella takin his own life . Us as men have that male ego pride which is false please if you are struggling let others know where you are with your mental health #realmencry rest easy Jhonny in peace now #itsgoodtotalk .

Good video pal, you look dressed for the North Pole lol. Billy is putting out a lot of content, and it's really working for him. Sounds like he went through a rough patch but managed to get himself out of it, which can't have been easy. I wouldn't say that I have been through a rough patch, but if you had told me 10 years ago that I would have a RUclips channel with 1000's of followers, I would have not believed it as I wouldn't say boo to a goose back then.

I saw the last video of Looking glass at the time. Now, I think I got this right, but watch out for it if you see the video. It came very close to the beginning. I believe it was the day the mob from the "religion of peace" went on rampage. LG seemed quite traumatised to me and mentioned he had witnessed a violent hammer attack. ( I might be wrong but I really think he said that) I couldnt find the vid later to check again. I thought his going to the hotel was very out of character and I thought he seemed very upset, seemed some kind of break down to me but I didnt know that he was fond of a drink Please keep us informed re his sentencing..
saw a youtube vid of billy's lately were he did scott estate in ormskirk, while he was there he went round the roughest side of the estate but never the "good side" were all the houses are decent lookin houses which i think is giving the estate a bad rep
Has anyone ever had a conversation with Charlie. He is a nice guy. Anthony crutchie Charlie tried to help him and would give most of them money. He did not wish to be approached when he was with his children but addiction is selfish and he started to get harrassed and abused and this is where it all stemmed from plus no one should be doing drugs in a public place in front of kids two sides to every story
i remember seeing charlie giving crutchie some money from the vids i think, and him and crutchie being 'mates', at least for a video or two, but then i must have missed how it all fell apart again. There was one the day crutchie came out of prison, looking ok, short hair, smarter, but next, he'd got back into the bad again.

Don’t take sides on the looking glass lad he isn’t just a Charlie veitch wannabe he does go a bit too far sometimes but take it or leave it …….to each his own
Billie is great! But I don’t think that you can blame Charlie Veitch for Looking Glasses vids. He was confrontational. And many times over the top.And yes sometimes you knew he had been drinking. But! At the end of the day! It was just a vid. He doesn’t deserve what is happening to him and his family. When I was a young Apprentice! I got more S@#£ thrown at me than any RUclipsr. Its good for those struggling to talk and share their problems. John May, the man who is hilarious and doing well, often talks about MH on here. He has helped others by sharing. X
Exactly this
Great video bud, been following you for a while now, i had issues about 6 years ago after my dad passed and relationship failure, its good to talk as you say, im in a much better place now and met a beautiful woman that ive been with nearly 2 years now, and i never ever thought that woukd be possible again, keep up the good work and if you ever want a break in cornwall, you just message me, you will always be welcome 👍
Thank you so much Martin, one place I’ve never been is Cornwall, I love to visit there one day
This is tragic mate, so sorry.
It’s terrible mate
Its not that strange ive done the CBT thing and it didnt help im doing exactly what you are.... Cutting people out mainly the negative ones i should have years ago and went back to being on my own... It does help 👍
It’s good to know it’s not just me, thanks mate. Hope you’re ok
@@Kevcupoit’s not just you mate , there’s loads of us who end up in this situation, btw I’m Bri who was the driver on John Mays lands end johns O’groats, I’m a scouser now in Chester but happy to be away from the madness that tied me up, keep on Kev it’s a pleasure to watch your journey x

@Kevcupo it's been a pleasure watching 👀 your channel grow keep goin kev 👍🏻
Spot on about the toughness of talking to somebody, i feel like that advice is mis guided and specific to certain people. I looked for help on the inside, that is the only true way to heal, you need to forgive yourself and forgive others and most of all believe that there is positivity in life. Start with exercise in my opinion
Healthy body, healthy mind
Every man stands alone at the end of each day. Think about it.
Big up Kev seen you the other day in town I was in a hurry 🤦♀️ Billy top lad he's all day good luck to the both of yous ✌🏻💯
Thank you Neil
I saw Aaron's livestream where he went to that hotel in Stockport, and he was definitely drunk that night. He had just watched a DJE media livestream that seemed to fire him up. It was his conversation with the security guard you'll probably see in court. They actually arrested him for not giving his details when they asked. His livestream was up on youtube for about 3 days before it vanished. Type the looking glass arrested on youtube as ive just found a channel with most of it on.👍
I’ve actually seen it now
He definitely whips the camera out after a few drinks. As for DJE media he was that vile creature who put out loads of fake vids when Nicola Bulley was missing and later found dead in the river- he even filmed her being brought out of the river. A pity those lads from the car garage in Birmingham never grabbed him when he ran away crying n hiding n calling the police
G2E Media is great for exploring & local history. Be good to see you both collab
Yeah it would be good to do something with George, he’s a lot more knowledgeable than I am
Billy is such a nice fellow , big Billy up
You know whats really typical? When told what they can and cant do, both billy and charlie react in the same manner👌
When your aware and talking about whose got the best Thumbnails in Liverpool you know the worlds a great place 😊
Good to c ya on the new Brighton bus last week lad , Had a good chat 😉
Yeah nice one mate

It’s nice to hear that I’m not the only one that done things that way
You've probably helped alot of people with that bit of advice. Keep strong yourself👍
The last few weeks have been a real struggle for me. Bottling it up doesn't help so thats why i've typed this reply.
Contact me on Instagram if you need to talk mate
@@Kevcupo Cheers Kev,I've foloowed you on Instagram so i'll message you when i get some time.
Thanks, Kev 🙏!
So sad to hear of Jonny’s death!
Podcasts can be a source of so much hate! You have to ignore the hate. I know it’s easy to say but hard to ignore!
Stay safe, mate!
Cheers Steven, yeah it’s sad that someone who brings a lot of joy to people takes their own life
I bought a Malmut coat it was roasting but too heavy.I like the light weight ones now like HH which are also very warm
Yeah this one is really warm too, I can see me carrying it a lot
I do have a lot of respect for Billy, I’ve watched him since his early videos - but - I haven’t watched him since that video he shot in Wales. I thought it was in bad taste that he was showing personal photos of the guy who lost his wife. They were family members who might not have wanted to be shown on SM. Although the photos were shared with Billy, I was surprised that he didn’t know better and cut them out. I thought that was a bed move.
I will defo subscribe Kev -
Thank you, I don’t think I’ve seen that particular video
Hello mate how are you , sorry to hear about what happened you been the fruit stall in town its well better than the supermarket take care buddy
Thank you!

@@Kevcupo glad u back u r a good man u care for people homeles that says a lot
i like to watch billy i know so many people that have fallen to hard drugs in the last 20 years and he's so down to earth i can relate easily my only problem is he need to try getting it through to people that its a real problem when these junkies/users hang around in packs and scare the normal people half to death and also help destroy the city centre's they don't bother me but im indifferent to it the pensioners ect are petrified its so sad
Yeah I totally get it
Billy Moore is brand new.great lad.
Sad to hear another fella takin his own life .
Us as men have that male ego pride which is false please if you are struggling let others know where you are with your mental health #realmencry rest easy Jhonny in peace now #itsgoodtotalk .
That’s one of my favourite places to go in Nrw Brighton lovely cove ! RIP to Jonny l can understand & l think keeping your self busy getting out in Nature really helps me , but l can easily go back there and l trigger quite a lot but l have kids so that also helps me not to wanna leave them but mental health is hard! 250 quid for a coat 🧥 worth 30 quid
My hubby loves these coats. He had two i washed one thinking i knew better..... i have ruined it. Send to professionals to be cleaned, haha. 2:46
You have to tumble dry it
@@Kevcupo I did! It's ruined.
@@Lisa-Peter7875 my fault. lol
I totally get you mate, I was the same. Always thought I was too shy to do this. I’ll have to get to Blackpool for a walk around with you
@@Kevcupo That would be cool pal.
Watch the film “A prayer before dawn” it’s Billys story. Based on his book of the same name. 👍
Billy’s a top lad.
New sub from Issan Thailand,
Anyone who's a buddy of Billy is good Enuf for me...
Lovely to see you back 😅❤
Thank you Lin
Why anyone would want to be like Charlie Veitch absolutely amazes me!
Money and greed
@@Kevcupo…very true mate, C.V. has changed his opinions on more or less everything to gain viewers…anti-police to pro-police/conspiracy theorist to anti-conspiracy theorist/pro-Palestine to now apparently against them…the list goes on, his treatment of the homeless is disgraceful in my opinion, he’s a middle class overgrown Conservative schoolboy literally kicking vulnerable folk after instigating augments by calling them ‘Crackheads’ the bloke is an absolute nuisance…and that’s being polite!
good lad ...I'm in the city saturday I'll bell ya
Yeah give me a shout mate
Has this been taken down? unable to watch, just a blank screen?
It’s still up, RUclips have put an advisory on it, you may need to accept that you want to watch
@@Kevcupo Thank you for getting back to me....I'm not sure what an advisory is? I'm using my laptop, there are no instructions showing? I'll try watching it on my fone....

I will do, thank you
Yeah mate pretty sad, but I’ve seen some of his videos and his does tend to get the camera out when he’s had a few drinks, not judging him though
👍
saw a youtube vid of billy's lately were he did scott estate in ormskirk, while he was there he went round the roughest side of the estate but never the "good side" were all the houses are decent lookin houses which i think is giving the estate a bad rep
Ah right ok mate, I see your point of view
Has anyone ever had a conversation with Charlie. He is a nice guy. Anthony crutchie Charlie tried to help him and would give most of them money. He did not wish to be approached when he was with his children but addiction is selfish and he started to get harrassed and abused and this is where it all stemmed from plus no one should be doing drugs in a public place in front of kids two sides to every story
Correct I agree with that, I’m on about the people who are down on their luck that have no addiction, but he calls them crackies.
i remember seeing charlie giving crutchie some money from the vids i think, and him and crutchie being 'mates', at least for a video or two, but then i must have missed how it all fell apart again. There was one the day crutchie came out of prison, looking ok, short hair, smarter, but next, he'd got back into the bad again.
Hes top guy bill jees hes been trew it you two lads top boys to the city
Are you gonna do a Halloween haunted location kev? 😅

Nice one Jamie I really appreciate that
As I've got older I choose to have very few people in my life
Looking Glass didn’t deserve jail for that video he was just being an annoying drunk more than anything else don’t even think what he actually did was a crime he was only trespassing. Yup definitely a victim of Charlie Veitch .
Don’t take sides on the looking glass lad he isn’t just a Charlie veitch wannabe he does go a bit too far sometimes but take it or leave it …….to each his own
Exactly that Tony
Suicide doesn’t end, nothing. Mental illness is horrendous. I know. Stay, strong, lads.
Billy is a sound geezer
He really is
👍👍👍😊
What sentence he get today?
2 years
Billie is great!
And it was a part of life. Those were the days, supposedly.
But anyway, your channel is great. Only just found you. Now subbed.
