- We spent five nights at Alaia Belize, a Marriott Autograph Collection resort located on Ambergris Caye near San Pedro. We were lucky enough to spend part of our stay in a stunning Beachfront Three Bedroom Villa with a private plunge pool! Was it all inclusive?
What was the cost?
How did you set up the plane to san pedro. How much time do you need from when you land in belize city to when you board for san pedro or did you buy plane tickets at the belize city airport?
We booked through the Tropic Air website in advance (Maya Air works the same), allowing about two hours between flights. The transfer is very easy, when we went to check in with Tropic they actually just put us on the next flight that was leaving. We also saw many people buying their tickets on the spot, so that seemed to be a normal thing to do for this route!

we coined that phrase a12years ago ... NOT SO Secret Beach .. when we first started going to no one would tell you where it was .. when we finally got there there was one house at the end of the road on the right sign .. it said this is not a store or bar .. it was where all the emplyees went to get away from us all .. been going for 15yrs .. there is lots more to see

Does it make sense to do an all inclusive option?
We did not opt for the all-inclusive option because we knew we were going to spend lots of time exploring the town and island. But, the food and drink at the resort was pretty good, so it could make sense if you're planning to just stay on property!
How much is it in gold?
Was it a turbo prop flight with 8 seats?
The Tropic Air flight we were on was in a 14-seat Cessna Caravan 208. It looked like almost all of their fleet was the same type!
