Sorry, are you sure about the new tax laws? Are you sure they will effect you? Even if the new laws do come in does you home country not have dual tax treaty with Thailand? And do your think they will tax your pension?

Thanks for the video as always! I was considering retiring in Thailand, but their upcoming tax laws will prevent that. I also think it will make many expats leave and that will really hurt your business. What do people there think about the new laws? Do you think they will actually implement them, and if so, will they stick?

Hi Paul, It is a bit early to say, but I am sure the Chiang Rai classic will be on and there were some good ones in Chiang Mai that time last year. We are away for a big triathlon in October so by November, a nice steady 120k bike ride will be very welcome!

This condo is as basic as it gets, you can find much better gents for that price. Don't compromise with YOUR money. The vast majority of condos come with a pool and some type of gym.

@@perfecthomeschiangmai The pool is nice, but still doesn't justify the price, when for less you can get more amenities, but everyone retiring is different. I've been there too many times to know better and in 5 months it will be permanent.
