    I work for my local Public Health Department (up in Washington) and am spending at least two days a week working at our drive thru COVID testing site. I so appreciate the commitment of Kimberly and the FQS team to the safety of their staff, customers, and community. The reality is that our quilting and stitching supplies can wait when the safety and well being of human beings is at stake, and I am more than happy to be patient and give my business to a shop that prioritizes the value of people first. Keep doing what you are doing 😉

    I stitch while I watch you (also stitch watching Stitching Housewives)--it makes me feel like part of a big warm stitching circle. I can't tell you how important it is to be part of something while I'm hunkered down (my daughter and granddaughter are in another state). So the longer the better but I appreciate how much time and work this is for you all so thank you very much! Also, I hope people realize how much has changed with Covid 19 so while your staff may be back at work, procedures have changed to keep your staff safe.

    I think you are all doing a fantastic job. I am amazed at people still complaining about shipping as we all know with the quarantine a lot of things came to a stand still. You all have been so great to your customers and I am so appreciative. I know that rules for companies creates new ways you have to deal with things. I think we all need to be patient with everyone as things open up more across the country and try to be kind. Again thank you for all that you do. FQS is a star. 🤩🤩

    Just started watching your old videos and I am enjoying them. I am a beginner cross stitcher. I am 3/4 almost done on my first project it is 14 x 36 called Honey Bear by Dimensions and having fun. I did some small projects a long time ago and after watching floss tubers I am back into it and loving it. I was amazed and somewhat overwhelmed with how many floss tubers are out there and I have been watching and getting ideas and amazed at their projects either completed or starting and loving the patterns. Love all the Jolly July pattern picks you have started and have been working on. I already have a few in my wish list. Loved all the finished projects you did for Christmas July loved the patterns. Happy Stitching and be safe.

    Kimberly, Lugana has threads, not squares, just like linen. They are just all the same size, so they are called even weave. Linen may have thick and thin threads. I've only been watching your floss tube videos for a month or so, and I'm truly impressed with the amount of stitching you get done with all your other activities. The Kringles pattern got my attention; and I'm happily stitching it in between quilt tops. Having you as a "friend" is certainly a danger to my pocketbook! Keep up the good work.

    I'm really grateful you talked about getting a mammogram. So many women don't. I always have to push my mom to do it but I tell her, wouldn't you rather get one every now and then rather then finding a lump later and having surgery and potentially chemo? I appreciate you being an example so much. People, please do procedures for cancer screenings! Such a simple procedure can prevent so much heartache.

    The Prairie Schooler ‘Christmas Alphabet’ is a pattern I would do vertically like Lori’s and Kimberly’s finishes. I actually really like the navy cloth for the Merry Chalk Full pattern. ‘Away We Go’, wow, that frame is incredible, again, loving the navy fabric. Silver Creek Samplers ‘My Christmas List’, have seen on Priscilla and Chelsea’s videos, a running joke about its expected completion...she’s almost there! 🤪 Wouldn’t we all like more hours in the day, more time in our schedules. Wouldn’t want to forget to mention how appreciative seeing everyone’s WIPs and finishes. The July Truckin’ Along, Kimberly, ‘Y’all have me stitching chickens!’ 😂 Heard that on The Real Housewives of Cross Stitch. When I frame my pieces, I use brown paper, but I like Lori’s use of fabric on the back...yeah. Kimberly, your taking the time to show us all, talk about the products is a tremendous help. Thanks. Have a great weekend everyone!

    Thank you for all of the info in your floss tube! I wish you would have mentioned stitching the month on with the truck instead of doing them separately... before I did the first one. I may stitch the rest as one piece and then maybe I will sew the June one together! I am hoping to have my supplies for the stitch along for the beginning of it. I did order other cross stitch things with my order, but nothing that would need cutting. Fingers crossed! Thank you for all that you do. I am so glad you are getting your mammogram... three years ago that is how I found out I had breast cancer. The lump was not anything that could be felt. But without the mammogram I may be having a much worse prognosis! May your days be filled with sunshine ... with just a few clouds thrown in!

    Another great video Kimberly! I want to say that Kevin did a great job! I felt his nervousness & wished I could just reach into the screen & tell him he was doing great. Both of you are such great people! I loved your story about giving your children chores to work toward something they want & also talking with them about everything. You have very good parenting skills! Looking forward to Jolly July. When you showed the Prairie Schooler Christmas Alphabet, that made me decide that's what I want to work on. It's so pretty! I LOVE the new Stitch Quarterly I just received! Good job!

    We're lucky Kimberly still does these live streams with all the complaints you guys are giving about shipping. Sheesh, they are doing all they can, and probably more than other places. Be Nice - words to live by. (Sorry if that sounds mean guys...) Also, Jolly July is very motivating! I'd love todo Kringles but it is so detailed, it scares me a bit! ;)

    Be brave with the metallic threads. I haven’t used that brand but I have used the Cosmo metallics and they are like ‘butta’. And I’m not x-stitching. I’m embroidering. You are right, you ended a larger eyed needle and use smaller strands so it doesn’t start to shred on you. I love sparkle so I add metallics to all my seasonal works (including adding to embellish my needle turn applique).

    I was late to the video this morning. You just mentioned you'll try to get the Mistletoe Lane thread packs out to people that just ordered. I would really appreciate if you could ship orders as they were received, especially if we didn't order fabric that needed to be cut. I don't want to have to wait on my orders from last month just so someone can start Mistletoe Lane on day one. I know you're doing your best to get orders out, I just don't want to get pushed back even more because of a SAL that not everyone is doing.

    • @stitchinglonestar6362
      @stitchinglonestar6362 4 года назад +1

      I agree! I am very anxious to get all of the items that I ordered, including Mistletoe Lane, but they are all taking a long time to ship from FQS. My question about shipping updates during the live was not answered (and it definitely was not a complaint-just a question!).

    • @FatQuarterShopFlossTube
      @FatQuarterShopFlossTube  4 года назад

      Hello Candace! Thank you for your concern. Mistletoe Lane is being treated as a club which is a separate department so it will not effect orders that have been placed before then.

      Fat Quarter Shop FlossTube Hi! I was just wondering if you all had an idea of when shipping might be getting below that 17-22 day mark since Texas is opening up pretty quickly. Everything I ordered showed it was in stock when I ordered it so was curious about that timeline decreasing in general (not specific to only me). Thanks!!
