Barca Residency Academy Alum Julian Araujo Signs with FC Barcelona

On February 17, 2023, FC Barcelona reached an agreement with LA Galaxy for the transfer of Julian Araujo, who will join Barça Atlètic. With this deal, Araujo became the first Barca Residency Academy alumnus to sign a contract with FC Barcelona.
In his first interview with the club, Araujo spoke about how special it is "to be the first player to sign with Barcelona from [Barca Residency Academy]". "I want to set the example for the younger generation and let them know that dreams are possible and that no dream is too big."
