Ohh only to download the datasets you used in video, I have to pay an amount and avail it... Is it with full course or how it works and why only to download a file your charging
Why did you change a sorting column 9:40? Is there a case that for other measures you need to sort a table using other column and changing sorting column you break the result of other measures?
Here the range of dates you have provided in date slicer is from 28/08/2018 to 02/122020. So does this mean this measure for each customer divides the total sales for each customer by count the total months in this range ? So if we see for Aaron Carr should the average monthly sales for the given time period be 32048\18 ?
Hello Shailee Madhani, thank you for posting your query onto our channel. Well yes, the measure will calculate the results depending upon the value selected into the slicer. If remove the slicer or if there's no slicer onto the page than in that case the average sales will be calculated since the customer made the purchase for the first time till the recent date. And yes, as per the slicer selection shown into the video, the average sales of Aaron Carr will be calculated based on Total Sales = $32,048/-. what is the difference between the two 1. creating a measure, sum of sales = SUM(sales[sales]), and then using this measure in another measure like AVERAGEX(value[state], [sum of sales]), this works fine as I want it to. 2. AVERAGEX(value[state], SUM(sales[sales])), this does not work. why the 2nd does not work, aren't the two equation basically the same ?
