Fun facts: V is actually a baritone, and your boy jhope has always been a sub-vocalist in the vocal line. Jimin did that run, and yes, this is a fun, chaotic banger.
You'll be surprised with V's range but seriously this preformance is one of my absolute favourites... I still sing nico nico nee every time I listen to this song 😂
i think one of my favorite things about this is poor jimin struggleing to stand up and dance for a couple seconds as he laughs because of V's "Nikko nikko Ni!"
Tae's low growl is epic. He can hit that growly vocal whenever he wants, but it's pretty epic in this performance. You should listen to "Jump" too, his part is legendary.
This is from eight years ago or so, I think. They were young! And this performance is in Japanese versus Korean. LOVE your reactions to BTS. You are fun and genuine. Also, I might get up to LA to see your performance.💜
🤣🤣 actually from the moment you said that you recognize their voices I was curious the most about your reaction when hearing Tae's voice🤣🤣🤣that man can change his voice for infinity
V is a baritone and in a lot of their earlier songs he sang in his lower register. In hype songs he often growled. His talking voice is incredible low too so it’s surprising that you are surprised haha 😆
This is one of my all time favorite videos. The "Niko Niko Ni" is an adlib by Tae/V. But ever since I saw this...now whenever I here this song, I automatically add it in 😂 I can't help it. They were in Japan for this performance and really let loose. It is hysterical and fancy free. Thanks for your reaction 💜
This is my favorite BTS performance as well. They had so much chaotic energy. Fun fact: V’s lower register and growl was heavily featured in their earliest songs, especially on their Dark and Wild album. Also, Jungkook rapped and sang on those early songs as well, including No More Dream, N.O., Attack on Bangtan: Rise on Bangtan, and so many more. That’s how he got named the Golden Macknae (youngest) because he’s good at everything. To be fair though, over the past 10 years they’ve all honed their skills. I went to the Suga/ Agust D tour and he did both singing and rapping. It was epic.
Since you love Hobi you’ve got to see his Lollapollooza solo show from July 2022! The run you couldn’t ID was Jimin. And Hobi’s documentary for the making of his album and Lollapollooza just dropped today on Disney + and it’s his birthday today!!!
RM and V were usually the "growly" ones in their live perfs in songs like these coz they do beef up nicely the sound. Hobi also has that grit and Jimin has a super nice lower, grittier register.
It's a long one, but I highly highly recommend their MMA 2019 performance. They pretty much turned an awards show into their own concert, it's insane, you will not be disappointed. I personally consider it one of the best award show performances of all time.
"beautiful chaos" is the BEST description of this and so many others of their performances lmao i love it, can't believe i haven't thought of that expression myself
Kim Taehyung growl is the most hottest thing... His growling is just everything... He always growl... In every concert.. BTS concert can't being completed without Taehyung growl... He even growl insanely in last BTS concert
Okay, the boys have been together for so long that: 1. They share clothes and accessories. Keep an eye out for the black glasses with the yellow lenses. 2. They can often sound alike. There are times when Yoongi sounds like Hobi and Jin hits a high note sounding like Jimin. 3. There are times when they have such a similar mannerisms that they could be mistaken for another. Or, in the case of Jungkook turning into Jin for second due to lighting. Eventually, you'll just be able to tell who is who, but will still get them confused because of how much they can be alike.
Thanks for your reaction. Super fun to watch. BTW, jhope in the box is at Disney + it is the behind the scenes of j-hope’s presentation on lollapalooza (his first solo performance) and it was insanely good!
This performance is one of their best! EVER! Iconic! Taehyung's growl and stage presence, making Jimin laugh, Namjoon's charisma, JK's stable vocals after dancing and running, Hobi's strong vibrato vocals! And I'm having fun watching it again and again! Thank you for reacting to this! I'm so proud of ARMYs too for making this song number one in Digital Sales this week! 💜

6:12 Jungkook, is basically JunGgook, that first k is pronounced like a soft g. I feel an extra element of awe for how good BTS are when watching this performance because they perform this so well whilst singing in a different language. I’ve seen some Korean singers perform in Japanese like this but the energy level has been quite constrained, taking away from the performance but not BTS, they still give their all even when not singing in Korean.
Love that Suga says 'always on top of the 4 by 4 beat' and then the drums Do That. Very nice guys, very nice. The live band always brings so much to their songs.
the fact that u react not only to BTS but also to the band behind them is something that made me appreciate more the professionalism and the work the BTS doing in order to perform this kind of huge conserts. Thank you for ur great insight and the help u give (at least to me) to understand more about the world of singers when they are on stage :)
Thank you for your reaction. This is indeed a fun party and great to watch. In their earlier songs like this one, V did a lot of growling vocals and he was so good at it. Jimin also deployed a lot of his raspy vocals in their earlier days.
It was fun seeing your reaction to V's raspy voice and growls live lol. He loves doing this especially in IDOL. To understand this song and its structure the studio version is better, but hey, a BTS live performance is a BTS live performance. And this specific one is the japanese version of the original track and the performance is iconic, so fun!
You gotta watch Jump or Boy In Luv! Jump is perfect for getting that deep gritty sound that Tae can do!!!! 💜💜🤣 Loved the reaction! Love. IT. I’m now hyped!
I just discovered your reactions a couple of days ago and I've binged them all! You're so fun and genuine, and also I really enjoy your band's music as well. Odyssey went right on my playlist and while I can't make the March 16th show I hope I can get to a show in the LA/OC area soon! I discovered BTS during the pandemic. I'm usually a rock/metal fan, but there's just something about them that's so fun and sincere. Listening to their music got me through a really rough transition period in my life, and I fell in love with their lyrics and overall message. Whenever I'm down I just put on a BTS playlist and let the beautiful chaos reign, haha. I've now seen them live seven times (four LA shows, three LV shows) and will be seeing SUGA/Agust D (my bias - he is "my man" like Hobi is yours, haha) in May when he comes to The Forum. They are just as fun offstage in their other content, too. Their channel, BangtanTV, has a ton of behind-the-scenes stuff, extras, Making Ofs, and now their variety show Run BTS (I know, confusing) is also there to watch for even more chaos. I know you love J-Hope (rightly so!) and you should check out some of his solo content like Daydream, Ego, and the entire Jack in the Box album. Also the others all have their own musical identities in their solo work and it would be amazing to see you check them out, too! The rapline especially are musical chameleons even in their solo work - they go from vibe-y to emotional to hard-hitting. Some recommendations for the other members: RM: Joke (w/lyrics), Seoul, Still Life (w/Anderson Paak) Jin: Epiphany, Awake, Moon SUGA: Daechwita, So Far Away, First Love. SUGA is also a producer and has won awards for producing for other artists like IU (Eight), Max (Blueberry Eyes) and Psy (That That) so give those a listen as well. Jimin: Filter, Serendipity, Vibe (w/Taeyang from Big Bang) V: Stigma live, Singularity, his soundtracks Sweet Night and Christmas Tree Jungkook (JK): Begin, Euphoria, his cover of Falling Also for an added bonus, since you love J-Hope and I love SUGA, and we both love beautiful chaos... I highly suggest reacting to Otsukare. Don't read anything about it first - just watch: ruclips.net/video/Z8oXgwpOwGs/видео.html The one I linked has English CC's so turn them on. Can't wait to see more reactions from you as you fall deeper into the BTS rabbit hole. Welcome!
Actually it is Jhope's Birthday tomorrow on the 18th.💜🥳💜 And his personal documentary, on the making of "Jack in the Box", his Lollapalooza performance, album listening party, etc.... released on Disney+ just earlier today!! My favourite group performance from them! V is so extra here! Have you noticed Jimin laughing so hard after V's squeak that he was on the floor and was singing through bouts of laughter? 🤣 other songs from this concert are just as extra! 💜💜💜
V actually used to growl a LOT in their older songs and this is a older song, he was even iconically known for it and there are several compilations on RUclips

This is one of the most epic performances but they always get goofy and hilarious towards the end of shows and it’s unexpected to née fans how funny but still hype they can be. Full on the “Nico nico nee” was an adlib V did and Jimin full on lost it falling down laughing at how funny it was and he still (barely managed that amazing vocal run while collapsed laughing. That is talent and unforgettable. They are one fo the best stage shows and their chaos is beautiful. This is in Japan so the whole song is a remake they did in Japanese so it isn’t even in their native Korean so bonus difficulty factor for them.
V part with Jimin practically rolling on the stage, my favorite performance of this song. Seriously look at the words of the song. We have no fear, we will swallow you whole…
You should watch Jhope perform his song “Mama” if you want to hear more from him vocally. He recently performed at the MAMA awards (and you should watch that too) but he has a song called “Mama”.
Great reaction! That performance is so fun! I don't know if anyone answered your questions, but "Jungkook" in English, is pronounced like the word "cook". And it was Jimin who did that great run shortly after V's "Nico nico nee". He cracked up laughing and couldn't sing for a couple seconds after that. The whole thing was chaotic hilarity.
V has the widest vocal range in BTS..he can growl, sing baritone, falsetto..etc..he has underrated vocals..he can adapt to any BTS song despite being a natural baritone..amazing voice control..🔥🔥😍😍
OMG! People that have been to their live performances are so LUCKY!!! They just seem to have a BLAST and pull the crowd into having a blast with them! So young, yet such great performers, just naturally gifted! Thanks for sharing!
I love your reactions!!! And you’re pretty easy on the eyes as well… fixing your hair 😂🥰 I love how you appreciate JHope! I wish I lived around your area to go watch you perform!! Have an amazing performance! 🫰🏻🥰
I'm just now finding your BTS reactions and I've been appreciating the expertise you bring to the table. Did you ever realize that this song is performed in Japanese? Yep, English is actually their THIRD language. Not all of them speak it fluently but they do full albums in Japanese and rewrite many of their songs in it. Oh and btw, RM, genius that he is, is FLUENT in Japanese, English, and Mandarin.
bro, jhope can belt!! it's one of my favorite qualities from his singing voice, he actually sings really well and is considered a sub vocalist, besides being a rapper, but his belting just hits different I'd recommend his song mama live to see that side of him
V's deep voice is on another level. If you pay attention, you can hear him hyping the crowd very often. When I was a baby army, I thought it was RM hyping armys.
I had to come back a re watch your reaction the whole video, but especially V's little vocal cuteness again and again and again, I fucking love it, omg your laugh and reaction got me hooked, so awesome❤
You should hear V's voice in Jump or Boy In Luv.

V was the designated growler in their old songs and I love whenever he plays with it on stage. So good
The JUMP live performance is also a MUST...
i think one of my favorite things about this is poor jimin struggleing to stand up and dance for a couple seconds as he laughs because of V's "Nikko nikko Ni!"

V's voice in boy in luv and War of hormones you should check out.
It was Jimin on the run.
j-hope!!!!! 😍''thats my guy right here'' i love it
7:27 He is Jimin :) And in the first albumes from BTS, V always make this type of voice. Thanks for the reaction!
V really said, “Lol, get Nico-Nico-Nii’d!”
V part with Jimin practically rolling on the stage, my favorite performance of this song. Seriously look at the words of the song. We have no fear, we will swallow you whole…
The run you asked was jimin between laughter and falling down because of laughter. 😂
You should watch Jhope perform his song “Mama” if you want to hear more from him vocally.
He recently performed at the MAMA awards (and you should watch that too) but he has a song called “Mama”.
It is my deepest wish that THIS is the song to open the 2025 Comeback Tour!
Oh my.. you picked the most chaotic performanec out there xD Tae's (V) vocal range is actual insanity.
I had fun watching it with you😀. By the way Jimin is the one who did the run at 7:29. He's got blonde hair and is right in front at 7:31
a documentary on /your boy/ just dropped on disney+ if you're interested ;) it's about his solo album and his lollapalooza performance!
OMG! People that have been to their live performances are so LUCKY!!! They just seem to have a BLAST and pull the crowd into having a blast with them! So young, yet such great performers, just naturally gifted! Thanks for sharing!
If you wanna hear more of V doing that growl, I recommend watching their performance of ma city
I love your reactions!!! And you’re pretty easy on the eyes as well… fixing your hair 😂🥰 I love how you appreciate JHope! I wish I lived around your area to go watch you perform!! Have an amazing performance! 🫰🏻🥰
Yep, JHope's concert at Lollapalooza - impressive - looking forward to your thoughts on it.
Oh and btw, RM, genius that he is, is FLUENT in Japanese, English, and Mandarin.
bro, jhope can belt!! it's one of my favorite qualities from his singing voice, he actually sings really well and is considered a sub vocalist, besides being a rapper, but his belting just hits different
I'd recommend his song mama live to see that side of him
V's deep voice is on another level.
If you pay attention, you can hear him hyping the crowd very often. When I was a baby army, I thought it was RM hyping armys.
I seriously really really love all of your reactions to BTS... like seriously! I had so much fun watching this with you!
This is truly one of my favorite performances of theirs. They're clearly all just having the most fun
I had to come back a re watch your reaction the whole video, but especially V's little vocal cuteness again and again and again, I fucking love it, omg your laugh and reaction got me hooked, so awesome❤
