They are not pirates they are Viking! I am a direct Viking Swedish, Dutch and a Angles living in East Anglia in England today. We are are still know as the Angles.
I am Russian and here's what I'll say about the Vikings!In order not to write a huge list of places where the Vikings managed to "visit", I will be brief - for two and a half centuries of their activity, they managed to plunder everyone and everything in Europe. Both in the West and East; and even a little bit in Africa.Keeping all the coasts of the European seas in fear, it is somehow very strange that they did not engage in expansion practically at their side and did not try to plunder Russia.Among their favorite activities, travel and new discoveries were of great importance. Their paths in Russia were even denser than in Europe. They founded so many settlements here that with a superficial study of the issue, many even have confusion about where the line is between the Vikings (Vikings in Russia) and the Slavs. Strictly speaking, if it was necessary to sail to Europe for a long time, then it is not even necessary to go to Russia - they are already here.
