Umpire is correct with Jeremy Cameron one. He must start on his line because Cameron’s line is outside the field of play. If he was inside field of play then he can just simply get to his line and then go wherever but since he is outside boundary line he can’t go past his line until he get on his line.
20.3.2 Moving in One Direction (a) A Player who is awarded a Mark or Free Kick may bring the football back into play from outside the Playing Surface beyond the Boundary Line provided that the Player starts on his line of The Mark in the process of re-entering the Playing Surface. (b) If a Player breaches Law 20.3.2(a), the football shall be deemed Out of Bounds and a boundary throw-in shall result.
@@asheronwindspear552 still wasn’t up right and Joel Selwood lifts his arm up to make the opponents arm go high it’s a different technique, still not in the Spirit of the game though

Well, probably because they have new players who strengthen their team... And maybe some free kicks that are erm lol 😭 Anyways, they are pretty good compared to their last year game.
Shouldn’t the first one have been a free kick / deliberate, to Brisbane? Although it was a mistake by Sam, surely that would have been free kick to Brisbane? But then again, I guess it is kind of like the “lack of common sense” with the Tigers vs Swans game and the non-50 Warner nearly gave away.
They should video all AFL games and put all the games in this video. All AFL games you have no idea what’s going on with all the new stupid rules they have.
The only time the ump was wrong was with the holding the ball one. Jeremy Cameron MUST start on his line coz his line is outside field of play and Rioli ducked into his tackle. Holding the ball he must’ve thought he handballed it or something coz that was pretty regulation
@@sarcasticdragon8673 theres a pretty general consensus that umpires have been known to perform pretty poorly over the past few years. All I said was this video further solidifies my opinion. Thats all! Thanks!

I think the commentator is correct on this one mate

That last one was a genuine good decision from the umpire we need to stamp that out of the game
Agreed wish the umpires called play on there more often
He stayed more upright than Joel Selwood though.

I recall many years ago (1999) when former AFL umpire Peter Carey marked the ball in play in a Freo vs St Kilda game. That was amusing & confusing!
Bloody good Aussie content, keep it up!

What about that God-awful Anzac day where the umps just called play on... that game was insanely dumb.
The last one was fair, but definitely confusing
Great video
You left out the most confusing moment, Carlton being 3-0
