Tina Mickel I don’t think you can. Let me put it this way: for the first several minutes of the video I was convinced this had to be a video adaptation of a radio drama by the RT cast or something along those lines.
I actually have a shirt that says that. I've heard the expression before but we felt it would be true to Ruby's character. Personally I'm really competitive with games so there was some inspiration drawn from that to a degree. Funny enough we wrote that Ruby would have this record for losing her cool with games and end up throwing her scroll. The episode of vol 6 just before Christmas Ruby gets upset and throws her scroll. Also, I thought this was a cool way to introduce both Qrow and Raven into the VR shorts. In terms of the short itself, I felt that the overall pacing was much improved compared to the previous short and that the last few moments didn't feel as abrupt as the previous short. I think it's awesome that you guys listened and responded to feedback, and you guys did a great job, can't wait to see more from you guys in the future! 👍
Yep! That was the biggest issue so we really wanted to make it flow better. We ended up adding in the Ozpin/Glynda scene to help the transition be smoother and keep a good time line. -Tina(Ruby)

6:23, there are two subtle genius moments in this split second. One, Qrow gestures with his drinking arm as if to say 'Yep, you're right' or 'Cheers to that' Two, The flask in his hand actually makes noise that makes sense for its movements. Really well done.

6:23, there are two subtle genius moments in this split second.
One, Qrow gestures with his drinking arm as if to say 'Yep, you're right' or 'Cheers to that'
Two, The flask in his hand actually makes noise that makes sense for its movements.
