We are definitely outside people we grew up going to our grandparents house every Sunday but unfortunately that tradition is slowly slipping away with this generation. I love when you share your precious memories 😃 Love how your beautiful screened in porch turned out for the summer love love that beautiful wreath and I would not want to part with that weather vane it’s adorable 😍 love how it all came together with that precious table setting. Thank you Sandi! It is a little crazy because now it is suddenly moving again...my numbers. Yes we used to visit one of our grandparents that often but the other lived 2 hours away so that was an overnight trip often.
Hi Debbie! I love your dress with the adorable Rick rack trim. Your jewelry is adorable. I love the idea of the “inspiration” pictures. I drink unsweetened iced tea. My mom’s family was from Richmond, VA and she always made sweet tea and hot tea. My son loves the lemonade that you can buy on the boardwalk while down the shore. My mom used to play checkers with her grandkids whenever we went to Cracker Barrel (on that huge set that they have on their porch). It’s been so hot here and now windy. My brand new umbrella broke and my husband repaired it. Then, it broke again last night. I love that wreath. Yes, the seaweed is a cute touch. Me and my sister used to go fishing for flounder with my mom and dad, mostly my dad. We’d have to cross the “mud flats” where there were always horseshoe crabs, as well as seaweed that me and my sister used to pop. 🙃 I also remember skates, clams and mussels. Oh my gosh as well as sand sharks. Now it is used by Rutgers for Marine and Coastal scientific research. 😞 I love your color story. Everything looks so beautiful. Yes, I think of Fire/sunshine and Water. The hello summer flag with the shell tic tac toe as well as those bird houses are amazing. That’s a cute tray. I love those pillows along with that yellow throw. Of course, your table setting is gorgeous. I always wanted a weather vane. That pineapple is too cute. Great job as always! I love bird houses and have used them for years. And shells… they were always inexpensive and something I could afford to buy and easy to collect. I’m not sure there were “in” in those years because there was no you tube. 😂

Absolutely warm, colorful and inviting porch. I absolutely am obsessed! The only thing I personally would add is a couple of small seashell or beach themed windchimes! I love the sound of their soft 'tinkle' they make from the summer breeze. Your porch is absolutely perfect!

I currently work from home but when I was in the office someone criticized me for wearing ankle socks with my sandals. Now, I don't wear socks with sandals but that day the office was super cold and my feet were freezing. When the coworker made an insulting comment, I looked her straight in the face and respectfully told her if she didn't like what I was wearing she could put her credit cards on my desk and I would gladly go shopping. She turned her head back to her computer and never again said anything to me about my attire. Soooo, if someone doesn't like the way you decorate or what you own, please by all means, let them send you tons of gift cards and you can go do more shopping for a variety of different styles. We each do with our happy place whatever we want! 😉😊 Quick story: I've been working for the same company (Jesus gave me my job) for 19 years. I currently work from home but when I was in the office someone criticized me for wearing ankle socks with my sandals. Now, I don't wear socks with sandals but that day the office was super cold and my feet were freezing. When the coworker made an insulting comment, I looked her straight in the face and respectfully told her if she didn't like what I was wearing she could put her credit cards on my desk and I would gladly go shopping. She turned her head back to her computer and never again said anything to me about my attire. Soooo, if someone doesn't like the way you decorate or what you own, please by all means, let them send you tons of gift cards and you can go do more shopping for a variety of different styles. Sounds like a plan to me! 😂😂😂😂😂😂Hugs from NJ❤❤

💕Hi Debbie and all friends watching. Your home is so lovely, and it’s so fun watching you style with such beautiful things. Oh, I miss a front porch, too, they say the onset of air conditioning drove people indoors. Darn it. I’m in an apartment now after a divorce and I miss my front porch so much. Use those porches, no matter where or what they are because you never know when it might be suddenly gone. Enjoy each and every day! Thank you, Debbie.
