    I miss those Long Island Bus I wish they came back

    Those 1700s was entering service without any depot stickers and didn’t fully receive them until half the fleet was in passenger service. Also you forgot 1808 also got into a accident and was also repaired and put back into service

    Very good video! I definitely enjoyed watching this video but however, there’s a couple of things which I need to point out. At 0:59 the 2006 Orion V CNGs(463-512) that Long Island Bus was initially planning on getting consists of 50 units, not 49 units. If they were actually delivered and ran in service, it would’ve been very likely that they would be renumbered to 1700-1749 when Long Island Bus was renumbering their whole bus fleet in March 2009. At 2:01 the NGs can go way faster than 68 mph, their actual max speed is somewhere above 70 mph. At 3:21 Long Island Bus ordered 40 NGs(1800-1839), not 39 units, if that was the case their numbers would’ve ended at 1838. 1804 was scrapped in 2013. 8:58 believe it or not, 1729 is not the final 2009 Orion VII NG CNG to make its final run, the 2009s made their final runs the day after on the morning of 12/17/2021 where 1728 ran the n21, n20H & n22H, 1729 on the n21 & n20H, 1756 on the n40/41, 1769 on the n1, n26 & n23 and 1782 on the n55 & n54, 1728 was actually the final ever 1700 to run in passenger service. 10:48 there’s only 8 units left on property, 1810-1811, 1815, 1817-1818 & 1824, 1814 & 1839 are training buses as mentioned in the video. 1834 was confirmed retired along with 1821 on 4/19/2024. And finally at 12:40 it is confirmed that the 24 new buses(2119-2142) will be in fact Gillig BRT+ CNGs which will replace ALL remaining NGs and half of the Orion VII 3G CNGs. Another thing I noticed is that I am very surprised that you never mentioned that 1797 became a training bus after its retirement, it got new decals for it too.

      I thought they were getting 41 new CNGs? Why they (NICE) keep changing things?

    Correction, the 2010-2011 Orion 7.501 NG CNGs were for 40 units, not 39. #1800-1839.

    Nice video but there was a few things wrong here.
    There is 6 NG CNGs in passenger service at NICE bus
    The n16NCC and n16X were separate routes, 16NCC was a non stop shuttle while the 16X served Hofstra and certain parts of NCC

      Thank you,
      1. There’s 8 units 2 of them are being use a training buses. If the xe40 were a replacement for them, they would’ve retired them by now.
      2. Thanks for the heads up

    • @dodge1515
      @dodge1515 Месяц назад

      At this point, I doubt the XE40s are replacing the remaining NG CNGs. If that were the case, they'd be gone by now.
