Pakistan, holding the rotating chairmanship, has extended invitations to member countries, including India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This meeting marks a significant diplomatic event amidst strained relations between India and Pakistan. The SCO, comprising eight influential countries, focuses on economic and security cooperation in the region. Jaishankar's participation continues India’s tradition of representation at the ministerial level.
