Video-Faul 🙃😵💫😵.

I think Vietnamese are having their "revenge travel" after having gone through a very tight covid control so Hoi An was predominantly Vietnamese travelers for now :-) VN is easing up on their covid regulations for foreign travelers so Hoi An will be so crowded this Summer. It looks awesome. I used to live and work in VN for 10 years but have since moved back to the US for 9 years now. I miss VN a great deal. I found Vietnamese to be very curious/nosy at first but I come to find that they are just very inquisitive and really like to learn. Of course, they like to listen and learn doesn't mean they like to be lectured to. I also got a sense of how they live their life in such a "communal" way. From neighbors knowing each other so well in alleys and villages, to how they eat a meal, to how they drive their crowded streets in a "I don't endanger you so you don't endanger me, OK" way. I hope you enjoyed VN.
Thank you so much for telling us your VN experience! It’s always very interesting to know other views and opinions. We really enjoy it here and hope they bring back the 3 month visa soon. The curiosity of the people for us is very pleasant, it makes them open for different ways of thinking. We feel so welcome here, Vietnamese are such warm people. Unfortunately we can’t stay here the whole year ☺️ Have a great time in US!
