      So glad my video helped you out!
      A lot of people have mentioned that a return hose could be beneficial this way when the pump isn’t in use and still running that the water is flowing back to the tank- but I’ve ran it this way for 4 years now with no issues.
      My biggest advice is always make sure to keep the pump submerged under water when in use and don’t run the pump unless the bottom of the pump is covered this way you don’t burn the pump out. Also if you’re not using the water for an extended period of time be sure to turn the pump off/unplug it.
      The coolest thing to me is that you get enough water pressure so that you technically don’t need a pressure washer. But you’re going to use more water more quickly. Any questions at all don’t hesitate to ask 👍🏻

      @@PurcellsProDetail so I will be using a ryobi pressure washer. Is there anything additional connects I’ll need from the hose coming out of the submerged water to connect the other end into my pressure washer?

    • @PurcellsProDetail
      @PurcellsProDetail  2 года назад

      @@ZaydenJayy so on the top of the pump is a male end fitting which fits a garden hose. You can put a short hose, maybe 2-4 feet which can hook up straight to your pressure washer.
      That is all you need. I use a ryobi as well!
      Make sure to power on the pump first to prime the pressure washer and let all the air out of the pressure washer hose before turning the pressure washer on.

    • @PurcellsProDetail
      @PurcellsProDetail  2 года назад

      @@ZaydenJayy actually now that I think about it, you’ll need a short hose with 2 female ends. This way you can screw it on to the pump and then also screw it on to the pressure washer

    • @tylermeek2800
      @tylermeek2800 2 года назад +1

      No you don't need a pump..you need to pressurize your barrels and let the lid open up along with gravity feeding will work...I gravity feed a simoniz pressure washer but I'm gonna add a bolt on air valve to add some air to it before and during use with a little 12 volt inflator ..

    • @tylermeek2800
      @tylermeek2800 2 года назад +1

      If you are pressurizing your barrel leave lid closed and do calculations to usage and be on it ..if you use a compressor like some new to detailing do for various reasons an on-demand inflation would work to and would only need about 15psi to help the gravity feed..if you use a tire inflator you'd be best to when you show up add about 15psi to your 9/10s full container and after every few minutes of constant use you can turn it back on or even leave it on if the use matches to the inflation
