OMG I didn't know what this effect was called and I saw this like everywhere, I was searching for this using silly keywords for ages. THANK YOU SO MUCH BRO! You just got yourself a new sub :)
Thanks you very much , i used vegas for along time , but never known that i could do such like this , Transition that would be very helpful for my next projects , thanks again you r the best :)
Hey, thanks! I used this same method for a scene where I needed a different background than the one I had; I had someone reaching towards the camera. Unfortunately I had to go frame by frame, but in the end it looked pretty good!
It sounds pretty funny but this last weekend I was watching once more "Cidade de Deus" Brazil's world wild Blockbuster from 1998! In a certain moment when the producer wants to switch from past to p resent time, he uses EXACTLY the same thing shown here. It wasn't even necessary to spend hours searching for it! Robert... Once again... YOU STRIKE! Many many thank :D
When preview playing clips with effects, and applying those effects in real time, it can take a lot of CPU, and cause playback to be jerky. Pre-rendering applies those effects before playing so you can watch the preview smoothly. Hopefully I've explained that clearly.
This is great! Thanks for the tip. I just subscribed so I can learn more Sony Vegas tips. I like your style of teaching, you are easy to understand and follow. Appreciate it!
Hi, looks like a very helpful tutorial -- I just have a small problem -- I've stabilized my footage so when masking, the mask is not where I want it to be (as it uses the reference of the un-stabilised version). Any solution? Many thanks, Theo.
Easy to follow, understand and apply!
Thank you for great tutorials! :)
Actually, I was looking for this for long, ... too much thanks !!

you sir, earned new subscriber
Thank you very much I was looking for a way yo do this for so long
Disable resample before doing this
walid jabrane It just blends frames together, basically halves your framerate.
here's a better tip: if you're only going to use footage shot by your own camera, just change the project settings to have the same framerate
Start at 1:40
Not necessary!
