Thanks for the kind words Colin! Projects do seem to be taking a lot longer to put together lately so I very much appreciate you sticking around! Cheers!
L' apprenti tourneur que je suis aime beaucoup le fait que vous nous faites part des produits utilisés pour ce tournage. Merci beaucoup ,j'aime ce rendu final.👍
Such a beautiful job, just filled with bucolic charm, even a sort of Mediterranean character. I see what you mean about the final effect being rather subtle but it's no less elegant for that. Maybe the next attempt will be a bit more vibrant. Cheers Tim, always a pleasure and inspiration. Thanks mate.
Cheers Mark, it has grown on me I'll be honest. Vibrant will be the theme of the next stained piece, without a doubt! Thanks for watching my friend, take care.
Thank you so much! Yeah, I have been a little distant lately, the eternal darkness and cold of winter really kicked my ass this year. Never was my favorite season. Thanks for sticking around, I do have a few things in the pipeline starting with a lovely piece of olive, which is always a joy to work with! Watch this space 😁
Cheers Ben! This one I used True Grit, similar to the Yorkshire stuff but it's also a microcrystalline wax. Yorkshire grit is solely a polishing compound. Would recommend both though, they are great products! Thanks for watching!
Turned out great Tim, well done! 😃
Cheers Val! 😁
Well done Tim. The bit of color simply added to the lovely lines of the design.
Thanks Doug, I really should have parted off after the sanding sealer for a more marine feel but never mind, there's always the next! Cheers bud!
That came out great! Nice one Tim!
Cheers mate, much appreciated!!
Well done Tim as always 😊

Cheers man!!
Nice one Tim! I think oak is quite tricky to colour myself but a pleasing effect none the less😊
Cheers Dave, I might not like the end result but the process was still fun. 😀 That's not fully true, I'm starting to like the piece too haha.
Salut Tim un très jolie petit vase bravo 👍👏👋
Thank you so much Denis! 😁
Very well done. I like how you friction burned the neck. Haven't seen anything new in awhile, hope you are well and still turning.

That's a nice little project Tim! I have lots of oak in my area so I need to try coloring some of what I have. I love the shape.
Cheers Todd, the shape is my favourite aspect, felt like I got the wall thickness just right! Thanks for watching!
Ooh, that looks great! Ive got some of those spirit stains but haven't used them yet - will have to try it out.
Thanks Alun! They're really good, I like them.
Looks great, well done Tim. I've heard good things about Yorkshire grit - might have to give it a go.
