Same here. Fortunate enough to have gone to Desert Daze to hear him and the crew play the whole thing live. That set solidified it as my favorite album.
I’m 25 and started listening to tame when I was 18. Lonerism helped me so much with my anxiety during college. All the lyrics were so relatable and it felt empowering.
I started listening at 15, in 2012. I can relate. As I got older gradually, I found a lot of wisdom and new ideas in each new album. It really helped me process what was going on in my life

Right? Innerspeaker/Lonerism are about, well, what the album names say they are. (Introspection, being a loner, isolation). Currents is a breakup album, and the slow rush is a love album. Always nice to be able to listen to tame in any mood
The prime example of an album you truly get lost in. A cohesive project from start to finish with each song melting into the next. Zero skips. A work of art.

His absolute best album, and one of my favorite albums in general. Nearly everything about it is perfect, and hearing how much of it was based on Kevin’s own personal loneliness just makes it even more beautiful to listen to
Another fantastic video, thank you so much! Extremely informative and very well edited. You do an excellent job of honoring the work of talented artists by both promoting them and chronicling the creation of their finest works. I really appreciate all of the effort that you put into these videos and will keep watching!
Such a fitting time for this video. Just saw him live other day in one of his first gigs back in Australia in years. By far the best live performances I’ve seen thus far
The lyrics in this album are so special. I can't believe he wrote these lyrics and mixed with the superb instrumentals that only Kevin himself knows how to make. Absolute masterpiece.
Seeing him perform the whole album at Desert Daze last year was so amazing. I don’t think I will ever witness a better show I was just so happy and think about it every time I hear a song from the album
I wish Kevin made an album or ep just of those longer songs. Keep on Lying on Lonerism Let it Happen on Currents and One More Hour from The Slow Rush are my favorite songs so just to have those instrument focused longer songs would be a dream.
seeing the unedited cover blew my mind!! so cool to learn that the album was called 'loner pop' too. my favourite album of all time, well done on this video :)
Thank you for this, this was awesome. Lonerism made me feel I wasn't the only one going through it. When I saw them live a year ago, it was awesome and was a sort of closure. Music is amazing.
Currents is the one I enjoy the most, it was on repeat while I was dealing with heartbreak, plus sonically is just amazing I adore the instrumentalization
I've always found it awesome and hilarious that the sample in Nothing That Has Happened was literally straight audio from The Room that Kevin took and tuned up
Can't thank you enough for putting into words how me and a lot of us felt while listening to the album for the very first time. Shamefully it wasn't until the covid pandemic that I was able to dive into Kevin's works and Lonerism felt like pat in the back during the peak of covid feeling anxious and lonely. This started my obsession and deep dive. At this point I’ve now seen him 4 times in the past year, and got to see him perform Lonerism at Desert Daze. A while back I was at a party with my friends and some people. I was having a bad time, one guy was super annoying and was constantly making fun of me for no reason, A girl I liked was there and I knew she liked me back because she told our mutual friends, but because of my introverted anxious nature I never made a move, so she was there with another guy. I was just feeling so disconnected from everyone. I always had been and introverted loner suffering from social anxiety but that night was the absolute worst.
