Not gonna lie Selena has some bops but I always got the vibe though she just did music for fun because she could and she saw her peers doing it but she was never as passionate with music compared to a Demi and Miley and I feel like she just stuck with music because for a while to fit in the formula with all the other artist who have moved on last Disney in my opinion I feel like Selena shines more in acting I mean compared to Miley and Demi Selena has done more acting then them
I feel like her Rare era didnt do that well because all the singles were not up to par after Lose You To Love Me. Feel Me, Souvenir, Vulnerable, Dance Again are my personal favorites that i think would have done way better than rare, look at her now and boyfriend. I am hoping they don't choose bad songs for her next album. I was lowkey kinda disappointed in Single Soon but Love on was a step up.

This crap of her needing someone came from Justin B. Who claimed she was with him to stay relevant. The nerve!. Selena was around way before JB. So to me they made that sound as truth. But Selena has her own fans.
Another thing that should be added is that yes, she’s not the best vocalist but she definitely does have some skill. She might not be able to sing high but, she can sing really low like Miley Cyrus. Selena is also better known for her choreography than many other Disney girls. It’s ok to be better in some places and to not be as good in other places.
Her Stars Dance tour is my favorite. She was almost going down the Britney Spears or Beyoncé path with her choreography. And she was getting better and better. But after her tour she stopped dancing. I don’t know why but I hope she’s able to find that part of herself again for her next tour.

My issue with selena as a music artist is that she cant sing, and that's why people can't take her music seriously. Selena is not musicly talented at all.
