5 Proven Natural Ways To Grow Thicker Hair & Fight Genetic Hair Loss (Male Pattern Baldness)

  • Male Pattern Baldness aka androgenetic alopecia affects two-thirds of men by the age of 35.
The only two FDA approved treatments for thinning hair are topical minoxidil (Rogaine) or oral finasteride (Propecia) and they are not cures. They have between a 50-80% effectiveness if you catch it early and only about a 30-40% effectiveness of reversing hair loss
The worst part? The reported side effects. They range from things like itchy or irritated scalp to erectile dysfunction & abnormal ejaculations.
I decided to do some research on natural remedies. I didn't think I was going to find anything. I was wrong. I found quite a bit of science and research that looks promising, but I still want more. I'm excited about the future though, and can't wait to see what science uncovers.

Honestly I'm a fan of Trav, but I'm also an androgenic alopecia suffer, I appreciate the time and effort you put but nothing of what you said does actually work. The only hair loss FDA approved treatment is Finasteride(and the reason why I didn't mention Minoxidil because Minoxidil does not treat androgenic alopecia, it's only a hair growth stimulant)
There's a reason why none of what you mentioned is FDA approved for hair loss, because they are not even effective enough to be called treatments
So if anyone wants to keep their hair, just get on Finasteride and get on with your life
Needless to say, always consult your doctor about taking any pharmaceutical

Hair root is stimulated, the strands stand up from the base looking awakened. Overall hair shaft began looking healthier in a couple months, its shiny, moisturized and bouncy.
However, Its been about 3 months and I havent noticed any new growth, but the length has gotten longer. I'm giving it a year to see results. Sprouting new hair is a slow process.

Great information Trav, I have been using Saw Palmetto Lotion and capsules for 2 weeks now and I like the results, Normally I do not lose a lot of hair, I am just doing this as a prevention and to make my hair even thicker, stronger, and healthier. I like the results but I want to keep doing that more time to get 100% convinced, so I will keep you posted. I have also tried the coconut oil, I must confess I use the one to cook because is so much cheaper LOL, and that makes feel my hair great because that makes my curly hair look great with so natural curls. Also, I am using vitamin E oil, very good results too, my hair looks very good. Sometimes I mix oils and that works for me, I haven't tried peppermint oil or Romero oil, that takes my attention but I am afraid of over oiling my hair. What do you think about Shea Butter mascara for hair? is that good? I just got my 6 month of hair growth so my hair is too short but is growing nice and strong. Are you on Facebook or Instagram? Congrats again, and continue doing your hard research, I think you are smart and I trust in what you say.

Dr. Sebi says 'Batana oil' will grow hair- for those with alopecia. Pumpkin seed oil does the same as minoxidol WITHOUT the sexual problems that chemical hair growth products cause. One of the things that's needed for circulation to the scalp (without doing handstands) is lying down on the BODY SLANT BOARD. 14 inches off the ground at one end. Lay with your head on the lowest part of the board and feet up higher. Do this 15 minutes every day...You can meditate or sleep during the 15 minutes (or more) :)

    • @martinopal680
      @martinopal680 3 года назад +4

no, The hairs your grow back with minoxidil become dependent on it, if you stop the treatment, after having committed to it, you will experience, thinning, essentially returning you to the point where you would have been, had you not used minoxidil.
Finasteride does not prevent that backlash, and will simply help hairs, that aren't minoxidil dependent

I have been using minoxidil and peppermint oil, rosemary oil, tea tree and a few other essential oils for 5 years!!I Rogaine foam does not give me any sides.
i basically have a water/essential oil mix and spray it all over my head followed by minoxidil foam. My hair looks so good I am not sure which one is working but I am afraid to stop any of them. But my hair looks just as good as trav! Oh i use a laser helmet also 5 times a week!!

I do agree, there are natural remedies available, but just to set the record straight.
Studies have shown that side effects for Finasteride are rare at best. You don't get guys who have regrown hair complaining in online forums, but everyone who has experienced side effects does. And IF you experience side effects, chances are in your favor that they will go away entirely upon stopping the treatment.
People readily take medication for depression, anxiety, epilepsy, diabetes, and many more on a daily basis. Have you seen the side effects of some of these medications? The list is 10x longer than Finasteride, even for medications that are available to children/young adults (Ritalin/Adderall).
And yes, I speak from experience. I have been on Finasteride for 7 years now and I have not experienced one single side effect from it. I suffer from MPB and I have regrown and maintained the hairline I had when I was 18.
I'm not saying these medications do not pose any risks, but often it is portrayed as, "If you use Finasteride your dick won't work", which is absolute BS.

wash hair twice a week with black or green tea and cold water,
massage hair intensly with shampoo brush while applying the tea ( i use tea since i'm allergic to shampoo and head and shoulders made me lose a LOT of hair).
apply home made hair oil after tea wash
detangle hair with wide tooth comb only
Hand stands every day for atleast 3 minutes
2 capsules of saw palmetto every day
    hair oil recipe:
    40 drops of rosemary oil
73 ml of Pumpkin seed oil

    Here’s your recipe:
Use 11 ounces of carrier oil of choice (such as olive oil) that’s best for your hair:
Use slotted frying spatula to remove rosemary leaves from stem from 5-6 stems, and use double boiler method to infuse rosemary oil into carrier oil (support black channels, there are several black female content creators demonstrating this.)
Not discussed in video, but you may want to infuse cloves as well, as anecdotally this also improves hair density.
After oil has cooled, Add 10ml peppermint oil from Trav’s link (3% final solution).
Add 16.5ml of lavender oil from Trav’s link (5% final solution).
Skip the saw palmetto oil, weak evidence and too expensive.
Apply daily into scalp, esp into trouble areas. May apply directly after micro needling sessions (Jose Rios got fantastic results with 0.25mm just 3X a week)!
I may possibly add MSM to this hair growth oil too, as there is lots of anecdotal support for its use.
Instead of finasteride, take a half gram equivalent of pumpkin seed oil orally everyday to lower your DHT levels.
If you want to replicate exact dosage, final oil volume should be 11.33 Oz (333 ml) to replicate exactly 3% peppermint oil and 5% lavender oil.
11 Oz should last you a month, a little every day should go a long way. 2 tsp (10ml) a day massaged across your scalp means a 300-333ml stock should last 30-33 days. The lavender and peppermint oils are $7.50 each. So you’re using roughly $22.50 in essential oils a month. Rosemary sprigs and cloves are cheap from the supermarket, esp ethnic supermarkets (let’s say $7.50). Trav’s pumpkin seed oil soft gel recommendation comes to $4 a month. So all-in-all, this protocol will cost $34 a month. More if you add micro needling and MSM, but those are probably optional.
There are a lot of fake rosemary oils on the market, so that’s why I suggest you infuse your own.
Will report back on results in 6-9 months.
Was considering Rob English’ scalp massages, but 40 minutes a day of massaging my scalp is too big a commitment for me, which means I won’t be consistent with it, so I’ll stick to micro needling and Trav’s hair growth oil suggestions.
Here’s to your happy and healthy hair guys!
