So incredibly helpful in preparation for my visit with my Dermatologist. I can now describe the way my skin issues start and work through their slow healing.
Now we can sound smart instead of being talked to like 3rd graders with silly layman terms. Lol 😂 I always think it’s funny what metaphors docs come up to help us laymen understand. It’s also funny cuz my dad was a doc and I’ve almost completed nursing school, on top of 4 years of working in surgery... so when I act dumb they really love showing off haha! Especially the men, no offense guys. 😆

I’m needing to make an appointment with a dermatologist, I’ve been battling skin cancers for 45 years, starting with malignant Melanoma at age 33, but now I have a place on my forehead unlike anything I’ve ever had, when it first became noticeable it looked like a pimple but it never went away, I’d say I’ve had it three or four months, but now it’s changed somewhat, as there is a raised area on one side of it that’s almost a half inch wide and around an inch in length heading towards the top of my head. When I put my finger on that part it just feels very soft but not filled with an fluid. However if I touch the pimple part of it it’s really very painful. I just dread going in to see the Doc.
