    I am attending 2 huge conferences next month in California and I've been watching videos on how to network and WOW I am blessed to have found exactly the one that I needed!! This information just gave me a confidence boost on how to approach the many many people I'll meet next month. Thank you so much for delivering the way you did.

    Mark is one incredible man and I love this philosophy. He is brilliant, caring, and really wants to make this world a better place to live. I am honored to have him as a friend. His events are extraordinary and I have met many fantastic friends and business colleagues through them. But you have to follow up. I still am amazed that that 70% of attendees in any social networking setting never follow up with the people they meet. In sum, care about everyone you meet and you will be amazed at what starts to happen in your life and the lives of others. Thanks for sharing your wisdom Mark.

    Well spoken, easy to understand, and very convincing. I love networking events but Mark's presentation took my passion for these events a step higher. Thanks.

    Excellent video! The problem that I run into is that most people REFUSE to open their hearts and minds to connecting and networking even in professional circles.

      yeah. becoming friends with people that can compliment your business. Or making friends with someone in the complete opposite business field that you are in,because you guys get along.

    If only the comment at the beginning hadn't been made "She was hot, but I don't really need that." It was very disrespectful and unnessesary to the point.

    • @MarkESackett
      @MarkESackett 7 лет назад +12

      The point I was making is that many people think like that, all of the points I made are that this is what we do when we meet people. We judge, sort, evaluate, and categorize, by perceived beauty, availability, sexuality, weight, financial stability, job status etc etc etc.. I don't do that in my life, I am sorry you missed the point. And if you took offense my apology.

      I was going to show this to my students, but when I heard that comment I decided against it. That attitude to other people - usually men to women - in a professional world is the view of a dinosaur and not something that should be shown as an acceptable way of dealing with people. I want to see young people going out into the workplace with a respectful and open approach. If you are still "categorising" other professionals by their beauty then I feel bad for you.

      I think that he could have rephrased it better.

    • @jeromeware743
      @jeromeware743 6 лет назад

      Actually, it was the point people have no respect for the complete person in front of them, and rather deal from them from a need don't need perspective.
      Guess Mark could have used the "They were not attractive" so why did I need them? Would that have been better?
