You know, it was always strange to me that Paper Mario was suddenly scared of ghosts.But then you recall his last two experiences with ghosts and it becomes a lot more justified.
Guess I missed out on stuff, because I never knew Paper Mario interacted with ghosts before.

@@AlliroG98 I never played any of the Paper Mario games myself, only watched videos of them. While I did watch some TTYD, none of them had a ghost Toad in them.

Something to note is that if you ever leave this stage, ALL of your story progress here dissapears, meaning you have to do it all in one session. Leaving just replays the scenes, but with Huey and Mario realizing that they have to please the ghost toads all over again.
Also I learned that if the clock ever reaches 3:00, you are forced out of the stage. I learned this today from another commenter, I only suffered replaying cuz I needed the fricking teapot

Curious as of why the paratroopa just agreed to go in the cage.
This level is frustrating because you’re dealing with a time limit. If you don’t find all the ghosts in time you get kicked out of the level and all the puzzles reset
I found it so creepy when it turned three o'clock and the ghosts said "We didn't make it in time..." And then I was booted out of the level.

Same thing happened in Paper Mario : The Thousand Year Door, you will instantly get game over screen when you read The Ghost Toad's diary book (in front of The Ghost Toad directly, before that he told Mario to bring the diary to him, but in one condition, NEVER EVER READ HIS DIARY)

"Inkling" doesn't always refer to the fictional species. It can mean hint or clue.
I think we know that inkling doesn't always mean the Splatoon ones.

Three types of ghost so far. First we have the Boos, then we have Ghost.T from thousand year door, then the hotel ghosts.
What about Merlumina from SPM? Or Dooplis?

... At least there's ONE consistency to the first Two Paper Mario games. (Enemy Koopas in Paper Mario 1 and 2 wore black shades.)
They also wore them in the third game I believe
I like to believe the games after SPM take place in a different universe or dimension than the first 3, I like to separate the 6 games we have into different trilogies, the Adventure Trilogy (PM 64, TTYD, and SPM) and the Paper Trilogy (SS, CS, and TOK)
This helped me on this level a lot

The fact the Paratroopa willingly put itself in a cage, was already hilarious. Then the fact it had a New Jersey/York/Chicago mafiaso type accent killed me.
