Than you Chris nice video and very informative, Ive been playing with mine and setup APRS this evening. My thoughts are this is a fantastic radio and a nice addition with my anytone and kenwood 74. Great stuff and keep them coming.
Does anyone know what the little switch located just under the data USB connector is for? It is a PCB mounted switch that has three positions. I can't find any reference in any of the manuals.
It appears that the side rubber flaps do not click back into place easily. I watched your first video, and saw you trying to close the flaps - unsuccessfully, although you didn't mention it ? I see in this video the same thing happening - see you pushing your thumb against the rubber flap, and it pops out again. That would be very frustrating for me
so when you set up a fusion repeater do you set it up the same way then hit the wires x to connect. That is where im confused Or could you show a video connecting to wires x strait from the radio to an outside repeater not a home node Any help appreciated
Kevin OKeefe I don’t have the radio anymore. But you would have the repeater frequency input and output set correctly on the radio. And you would press the wires x button from memory And navigate to the room you wish
o00scorpion00o I’ve actually bought it again and changed my mind it’s great.Audio is not brilliant but acceptable when you remove the rubber grommets on the side that protects the power connector. Just be aware it’s not water resistant if you do that
I was surprised to see my callsign (K3MR) come up in the demonstration.
Best run-through I’ve seen.
Thank you
Thanks mate I need to do a more in depth video soon
