  • Momos!!!! Momo is one Tibetan dish I will personally never get tired of eating! So today I made a batch to eat and also to freeze some later! I made a couple of usual shape that we normally do (u might see the shape I used for mothuk few days earlier in the video too) anyways hope all the non Tibetans give it a try! ❤️🥟🥟🥟 Always remember to add water to the meat mixture, it makes the momo juicy! And I added oil bcoz I had more lean meat and very less fat in there! The dough should be firm - only flour and water! Cook it on steamer for 15 mins and your set to go!

    Will the beef cook properly inside ?????

    • @Tibetancook
      @Tibetancook  3 года назад +1

      Yes 15 mins is more than enough for ground or minced beef. If you want to be sure... u can steam for another 5 mins but no longer than 20 mins bcoz they wrapper can over cook and loose all the yummy juices! Hope this helps

    • @Tibetancook

      Summer T yes. But I would suggest steam or even pan fry in pan and add water half way up the momo, close with lid and allow the momo to cook in water until the water dissolves and ur left with pan fried momos.

      @@whiterose6186 Hi there, you can try same items minus the coriander and add mint leaves, it would give completely different taste. And try again same things minus Sichuan pepper and coriander and add sesame powder and grounded nuts, again its so much different. Hope u like it. (Tips: try to roast and ground sesame seeds and nuts urself at home rather than buying readymade in shops because they give a wonderful aroma when roasted and grounded at home)
