I was in the US Army, 1986-89, and my assigned weapon was an M16 with the 203 grenade launcher. I got a few chances to fire the 203 with live rounds. It was pretty cool.😎
Favorite scene, at [7:24] when Tony's back is to the camera, the way he's moving from side to side is amazing acting. He not standing there on the spot they told him to stand on and deliver the lines like on the paper, he's acting his ass off because Tony is high as a kite in a wind storm, bleeding out yet still adrenaline fueled, and defiant till the end. Tony was destined to die just as his mother was destined to outlive her children. His death was inevitable, but had anyone bet that Tony would get easily steamrolled by the hit squad, they would have lost money for sure.
*Did you know that the look of The Terminator was heavily inspired by the hitman with sunglasses! That's where Arnold got his iconic Terminator look from! The Terminator came out one year after Scarface.*
@@mahoganyhoney yeah we all know that. the drugs kept him standing after being shot that's why I said if he wasn't high and actually prepared for war meaning you're actually fighting to win and planning things out getting ready for a attack and trying not to get shot
This is one of the most unrealistic scenes in the movie, the M203 grenade launcher fires a 40mm grenade out of the launcher and it is a spin armed grenade that has to fly 65 meters until it arms and will explode. This is to prevent injury to the soldier firing it. I know I carried one. 11B forever.
As a carrier of that exact same weapon in Viernam, HE rounds will explode after 30 feet. I don't know if they changed them, but that was my experience.
This kind of reminds me of the second battle I just had with The Institute at The Castle in Fallout 4 - not the outcome, but parts of the battle. It was over far more quickly than the first though, apparently due to my power armor and the work of the other Minutemen, though none of the synths, from seekers to coursers, go down as easily as those Bolivians.
Tony Montana smart enough to have a massive arsenal of weapons dumb enough not to have dragon skin body armor and a cavlar helmet 😂😂😂 from the high ground he could have held out if he had let his guy banging on the door in to watch his 6
It was designed to be based more on grit and realism than flashy Hollywood action. It's a nuanced story about a person rising up from nothing, and then because they used their talents for evil, they lose everything then their tragic fall. It's understandable that that may be too slow for some people.
@AnthonyMartin-k8m the irony is what got Tony killed was the fact he refused to break his code of killing a woman and children. The one moral decision he made got him killed

What people don't realize is that Scarface (1983) is a remake of the CLASSIC gangster movie Scarface (1932) with Paul Muni. Still classic scene here.
What people don't realize is every movie is based of something else
The black and white movie is an absolute classic.
@@nobsrcnot every movie
@@nobsrc mostly but not all, there are some, very few and far between, movies with original content.
Really,...I never knew
One of the most iconic lines in cinema history
The M16A1 with m203 is a legendary rifle ever
I know. It is no coincidence that it is one of the airsoft replicas of which I am most proud.
I was in the US Army, 1986-89, and my assigned weapon was an M16 with the 203 grenade launcher. I got a few chances to fire the 203 with live rounds. It was pretty cool.😎
When you're f'n with me, You're f'n with the best. Is my favorite line in the movie. 💪
Mine too!! That and "You wanna play games? Ok... I'll play with you."
Dasha... He wasn't even doing lines, he was just snorting from a mountain!!😅😅😅
Man with dark glasses is "Skull" aka Terminator, Sosa's personal assassin was played Geno Silva. Silva recently died in 2020.
3:30 “hes not even doing much…he’s snorting from a mountain”…lol
And in the Scarface game, he survived all this.
So did Vercetti.
The game was so fun
I think it's freeware at this point. Shouldn't be too hard to find
But it’s not canon chill
@@michaelmyersplays4992 It is canon to us die hard fans of Scarface.
This was his epic last stand.

"You can turn your back on a man, but never turn your back on a drug" - Hunter S. Thompson
Pacino the GOAT.
One of the best roles Al Pacino has played/revamped
The original Florida Man.😂
😂
Best line ever, "GO AHEAD." It makes no sense written properly, but the way Tony says it and in the context in which it's said is awesome.
*Did you know that the look of The Terminator was heavily inspired by the hitman with sunglasses! That's where Arnold got his iconic Terminator look from! The Terminator came out one year after Scarface.*
That’s actually false. There are similarities but James Cameron has never said that and neither has anybody else! Stop making shit up
That’s not true. James Cameron has never said this and neither has anyone else. Stop making shit up
This is my #1 movie of all time. My kids even know Scarface is the best. I can recite this movie word for word. G.O.A.T 🔥💯❤️👍
😲Full of that Cocain, he wasn't feeling those bullets at first...Until the sneak Attack from the Back😡
Cocaine is a hell of a drug, ain't it?
Say hello to my little friend🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Tu sabas wey
Tony pulled the M16A1 with m203 launcher and left the HK93A3 in the gun cabinet, I would have brought it along also, sweet guns
The game is called Scarface: The World Is Yours in which you get to use the Rage mode while fighting your enemies.
Cocaine is a hell of a drug.
Another line often used in gaming, either someone on a soundboard or said in for the hell of it.
No one else could've done this line
I still believe if he wasn't high and actually prepared for war Tony is and his men could have won
He was only alive that long because he was high.
@@mahoganyhoney yeah we all know that. the drugs kept him standing after being shot that's why I said if he wasn't high and actually prepared for war meaning you're actually fighting to win and planning things out getting ready for a attack and trying not to get shot
Yeah didn't take the call from Sosa seriously.
Fun fact: the gun he uses sold at an auction a few years back for $180k
Yeah, military training, paranoia from being a drug kingpin for years, and a faceful of cocaine will make anyone unstoppable for a little while.
I’ve been to the house they used, it’s only about 5 minutes away from mine and the guy who killed him was a local and a friend of the family
This movie is Brian de Palma's third best film

And the guys are shooting the shit out of him and yet the assassin behind him doesn't get touched.🤦🏻♂️
Did you deploy or just serve during peace time

Tony Montana Rules !!! ✊️
My idea was that tony drowned rather then getting shot
Dasha, oh my!
"So that's where this is from" YEAH, NO SHIT!!!! People being so Uncultured in cinema is absolutely shocking to me!
Zoomers. 😅
That happens all the time.
People hear another person quoting a famous movie line without knowing the source of said line.

Awesome video.
Tony survived they made the PlayStation 2 game Scarface based after the movie 🤣
Was in line at a restaurant and guy in front of me turns around and its Al Pacino, guy cant be much over five feet tall, hes tiny
Dont kill Montana from behind its coward
Al Pacino Is The Best 💯 Period,Nice Reactions Everyone 😊
Might just be me, but I dont like the sound design in the remaster. The original sound is closer to what firing guns inside would sound like.
Get Some Get Some. HAIL FROM OZ
It’s ashamed they couldn’t turn this into a franchise because i can see Scarface 2,3,4 and maybe 5 depending on what route they wanna take with 4
The guy who killed Tony from behind will forever be a coward
If he had built a little cover and concealment???🤔
Not his style.
Did they not have vests back then? Top gangster in Miami would have one i would think.
Woooooooo. HAIL FROM OZ

Normal filmes TV Vermelho
The only thing that bothers me about the scene is he isn't using a drum cartridge to make that barrage somewhat believable.
#Iconic
I never understood the fascination with this movie. It wasn't that good.
Al Pacino's charisma and Michelle Pfeiffer's sexiness.
