This is exactly how I cross list. EBay first then Poshmark. It’s so quick and easy! I tried using a service and it took just as long so to me it’s not worth the cost. I love how you keep everything simple.
I love it! I do cut and paste from Poshmark, Mercari then eBay but now I’m going to start with eBay. I try not to spend any extra money on my business that cuts into my profit or my sourcing budget. I get all the free usps mailing supplies and do listing, sharing (but only once a day if that) on my own. I also buy cheap poly bags for first class Mail. I don’t spend any money on the fluff . I create Poshmark listings on my laptop and immediately paste and expand the title in ebay, which is open on another tab. Ebay then pulls info from that title and automatically fills in most of the required item specifics. Then I copy over to Mercari open on a third tab. It's very quick.
I agree with you 100%. I cross list almost exactly the way you do. I'm an old time eBayer so I'm very comfortable listing there and then cross posting it to Posh. You're right, it takes seconds to do.

I pretty much list like you except I list on ebay and after I write the description on ebay I copy it then finish the listing, next I go over to posh and paste the ebay info. Oh and I do it all from my phone which is faster for me. I can list from anywhere. I carry a small spiral notebook with me that has my measurements. If there's a long line at the bank, I list....long line at the pharmacy, I list.
As a long time eBay seller this is basically exactly how I do it. I did get a great tip from this video though 🙂 For some reason, I’ve been putting the size at the end of the posh listings when I actually put them where you do in the eBay listings so, that’s an added step I’m now going to cut out 👍🏻

I am going to start doing it this way also since watching your video. Sarah Style also does it this way. So, two wonderful women can't be wrong. Now I just need to shorten all the information I put in my listings, as I think as a buyer all that description isn't necessary, if the photos show the details. That will be a hard habit for me to break being a long time Etsy seller with lots of details in the description., but will still do it for the really expensive vintage clothing on Etsy, kind of a fashion designer way of doing things. And on shipping on Poshmark you can use the USPS box that looks like a shoebox but on EBay which one do you use if you want to use that same box that looks like a shoebox. Looking forward to your next video! Yes, I think the cross listing tool is helpful when you list on 3 or more platforms. Like you said it’s very helpful when trying to cross list a large inventory. One other at vantage is the list and relist feature. But yeah I did it like you do for about a year. Only did it for posh and mercari then subscribed for Vendoo when I added eBay to the mix. But I may take eBay out of the mix....will see.
Love the info . On eBay with all the new additional item details they want.... I tend to just do as many as I can do quickly to get the listing up. Then while watching tv with my family ( when we are in “ok to use phone zone”) or when in car as passenger or sitting in dr office- I go back and edit my listing to fill in as many details as eBay wants . My store is very small - so I really have to fill in all the blanks or eBay fusses at me .... and I assume it will lower my listings in search algorithm ( just a guess) . I do put NA in a lot of the blanks . But watching you actually do the cross listing helps - oh and my pictures are on my phone - but I also backup to Google photos so I can access from my laptop if I choose - and from any computer if need be.

If i use a cross listing app to post my listing onto a new platform after i get them downloaded will i have to keep the cross listing app active or will they be on the new platform not matter what. I don’t really want to pay for the cross listing app but it would be helpful just to get my inventory on to the new app.

I think your method is best. I used list perfectly with a coupon code for a month and I found it to be kind of clunky. Mainly because of all the questions on eBay and Mercari. I didn’t find it saved any time at all by the time I went through all of that. It was less intuitive than I would have thought for $50 a month. I just copy and paste from eBay over to posh. And occasionally to Mercari.
I use Vendoo and it's ok. When it works it saves me time, but lately it's been really glitchy. For example, I'll get an error messages if I choose boots which won't allow me to complete the listing. I have to choose shoes or something that is not right, then go back and change it. When it's glitchy I think I'm paying $35/month to be slowed down. So annoying! Their customer service is quite responsive--I've contacted them a lot, but I wish didn't know that and it just worked as it should!
Great video. Thanks for sharing! One question and maybe you've addressed this before, but listing as BIN on eBay can get very spendy every month if items don't sell as eBay auto-renews the listing. Is that something you take into consideration or are you selling so much that the additional relisting fees don't matter that much to you?
I just delete quickly from the other site. I am very small - so I usually do not have an issue. Also remember if you list any on eBay as auctions, once you get a bid... I would go ahead and end your poshmark ( or other sites) listing. You can always relist on Poshmark if the auction falls through for some reason ...
question on adding "condition" to ebay. that field isn't on the app, so do you open these listings on the computer to add it? (you've been saying that you usually make these on your phone.)
Great question! I start my listings on my phone, so I can add the photos, but I do all the typing and editing of the listing on the computer. I make less typing mistakes on the computer and it’s faster for me 👍😊
Hi Courtney, just getting started selling on Poshmark and want to start crosslisting to Ebay. How do you handle if an item sells on both platforms before you catch it.
I delete them immediately, so this doesn’t happen. If you forget to delete an item and it sells again, you’ll just need to cancel the sale and apologize to the 2nd buyer. 👍

Before Vendoo, I listed very similar to what you’ve shown today...one question. Why do you start your eBay listing from an already similar sold item as apposed to just creating a new listing? Finding a similar item to start with means a lot will be filled out for me. It’s a lot faster than creating a new one where I need to select every detail, rather than skim and change a few. But this just works best for me 👍😊
I tried Vendoo and felt it was more time-consuming than this copy and paste strategy. Plus I had to go into eBay to add more details because I couldn't fill them all in on Vendoo. I have opened a ebay account and about to start posting over there. I did just get vendoo but hell I guess i'll probably cancel it after this first month lol. So much to learn. I figure vendoo would be easier but im just as confused with it too.
Hey Courtney. I see you are using copy and paste for the title and the description. If you also paste it in the brand you won’t have to type that either. Just quickly delete the other info. Time saver for me. 📦📦

@@amandadexter36 go to USPS website and order and they ship to you free. it takes about 2 weeks sometime a month for the product so order enough
Sometimes I save the sold comp I find when out sourcing. Then when I get home it is easy to finish up.

What would happen it the same item was sold in the same hour before you've had a chance to remove it?

You remove it from other sites as soon as it sells on one. It’s very unlikely the same item will sell at the same exact time on two different sites

See my other issue is I have an iMac which is suppose to be easier but seems harder to someone who worked on Microsoft forever ahhh
