That overtone at 4:06 is crazy. Clearest soprano F# that was never sung.

The soloist's voice at the very end is impressive! Never heard anything similar.

What a great choir! All the voices are well balanced and unified vocal tone (lower voices aren’t too dark and higher voices are too bright). Props to the soprano solo at the end who had to sing notes outside of the chords that the choir held (would’ve thrown me off)

Which one of the pieces is everyone's favorite. I think mine is the second one. But they're all so good 🤩🤩. I can't wait to go to college and get into the Georgia Southern Chorale. I plan to major in choral conducting

    No one:
    Absolutely not one person:
Theory teachers: *seizures intensify at each parallel fourth*
Honestly, these are wonderful. I cant believe I've never heard these before. Very much in the same vein as Whitacre.

What is 'greatnees' ?! Strange choice of pronunciation.

Well, be fair - for this choir, English is not their first language. I suspect my pronunciation of Scandinavian languages would produce gales of laughter from Danish, Norwegian and Swedish listeners!

@@UNIT-h2d Look, that's the job of the choir master/conductor etc. to make sure the pronunciation is correct. This text literally says "to make ourselves intelligible to you", "to understand you". I mean, what's the point to fail at some basics, then? ;)
