Gotta say, for the MK9 x-rays they make me dread of “how painful that would be” as opposed to the MKX-MK1 x-rays where I just think “oh that would just kill me”
I mean, a lot of the mk9 ones would kill or paralyse you

MKX Sub-Zero being in Dookie at all still is my biggest disagreement.
It's fast, but it's THE MOST PERFECT DISPLAY OF A CHARACTER BRUTALLY USING THEIR ABILITY! Still a crime to call it "the 2nd worst in the game." Deserves a C tier at least.

Geras not in S tier is a crime. It fits his character perfectly considering it makes use of both his powers and the weapons he uses. It’s one of the best in the game.

Honestly ny favorites are still MK9's. Perhaps it's nostalgia blinding me, but I felt MKX and ESPECIALLY MK11 and 1 were all a little over the top. Like... It felt like they could easily turn them into fatalities if they wanted to.

28:34 sorta hit the nail on the head as to why I think the X-Ray moves are retarded as fuck. These are basically mid-match Fatalities. Not that MK has ever been particularly immersive, but shit like the Predator shooting his opponent in the face in an X-Ray where it crushes the skull, only for the Fatality to do the same thing but it vaporises the head is so stupid, even for MK. I feel the same for the moves you can do now that wouldn't be out of place in a Fatality that it kinda dampens the effect when you finally finish your opponent.
Mortal Kombat is goofy, but it at least used to lay put what moves can be used to kill an opponent and what doesn't. They're pretty mcub indistinguishable now because you can snap someone's back, neck, and crush their skull in a match only for them to get right back up like you just uppercut them. It's stupid even for Mortal Kombat.
