after watching your videos about rice fish I have now gotten myself a group of them and I’m absolutely hooked on medakas! The only downside is over here In Sweden we can only get ahold of the normal gold medaka but still it’s a start 😃

I wish I could order some fish, but the logistics and legalalities in getting fish into Australia make it nearly impossible. Hopefully I can support you website via products instead of livestock. Great video.
I too feel your pain. I keep reading people bringing in some guppy strains down here from Indonesia etc, but I have no idea how much work is involved and more importantly the cost. Make it a costly exercise is the fish keel over in a week or two......and I only just found out frogbit is banned down here.....not sure if water Hyacinth Is....setting up some ponds in half wine barrels shortly...would work a treat....cheers PS - Are Rice fish down here? I’ve never seen them in Sydney

I was looking into it to try get catfish and quality shrimp from Europe, but after reading that post thought better of it. Now I try to support the international guys some way and source local guys for livestock. Not sure about the rice fish. I'll try to find out and let you know.
@@garrypeak4277 Not sure about NSW's laws on Ricefish, but there are plenty in Melbourne, VIC. I know a number of guys who breed them in ponds. I imagine since they're in VIC, they'll also be in NSW. Also, despite frogbit being banned, there is plenty around the place. Ask around on some facebook groups/gumtree and you might get some results if you're really wanting some
Lol I've been trying to breed those for a while to. white Moscow guppies at the pet stores . They also sell them as under the name Snow White guppies. The females look really nice they have a solid yellow body .

I want to say just about all "color-dumbo ear" starts out "black-dumbo" then slowly changes into the Color of what's in their gene as the fish starts to mature.

I think they like a rock pile of medium rocks too (I saw that in at least one of your tanks)... awesome as usual man.
Not sure what species you are asking about, egg layers like hakari first bites and sera micron food at least 3 times per day. Guppies will eat live baby brine and crushed flake right away
