I built my PC back in 2016, and it's still running pretty strong with the i7-6700K and GTX 1080, but I'm thinking 2024 will finally be the year to upgrade again especially with all of huge upgrades in graphics performance and high demanding games lol. These newer cards are absolutely massive!

What is your BIOS configuration for the CPU? 37k on Cinebench R23 screams default power limits. If you lift them you can get 40k R23 score with an AIO and over 40K with an external radiator
Why the Z790 Extreme but not the ROG Maximus Z790 Hero? I thought it was the best motherboard. Do you suggest the ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Extreme or Hero? Another question, how much ram did you put?
I thought the 9 ultra 285k performance was better than the i9 14900k. I checked the vs site they said the 9 ultra was better 86 to the 14900k 76 . Whats the real difference im looking to custom build to buy but i want the best components.
you would find some used maybe brand new but overpriced. i dont understand why he used this motherboard, new rog motherboards for intel 14th gen are comming up soon.

X3D chips still beats the fake 14th gen (It's a 13th gen refresh)
Beats it in price per fps yes. But 14900k is about 20% faster than the 7800X3D in most games. So yeah.. if you got the money why not.

So the coolant flows through the GPU, then through the cooler, then through the cpu and into another cooler. Clear as mud. Each should be isolated.
