Can any of these fish live in a deep pond in the Ottawa area of Canada through winter? I would want to swim in massive pond as well so nothing that will bite hard As long as I can pull away from fish I am good but I don’t mind using solar blankets heaters so ice doesn’t freeze over but I don’t want to stress them by moving them twice a year from pond to tanks to pond
Sturgeon will definitely survive there's a local species in Canada. There's a few other species that will survive providing the pond doesn't freeze over. Just do a bit of research & ask the local fish suppliers in your area.

So what I want to know is fish like snake's when it comes to male and female sizes female's get anywhere to 3ft to 7ft bigger than a male would get depending on what kind of snake and all i have is 6 reticulated pythons and 3 blood pythons.. but monster fish is what I wanted to get and this 300gal or 350gal tank just sitting and holding space
Look into what fish you are looking into or are thinking about getting. Different species can mean different Orientation of who is bigger, usually color plays a big role in sexing fish also.
Typically you're relying on the other fish to outmanoeuvre them, they will show less interest in smaller fish than larger ones, you can avoid feeding them fish and focus more on Mollusks and Crustaceans (better for teeth trimming), in the hope that fish is seen less as a food item. keeping there bellies full, it's when they are over hungry they start nipping at things, also it's luck of the draw, they have individual personalities you can get a chilled out one but sometimes you just end up with that fish that's just not gonna let it work.

Just wondering you say she but have you actually done any research on cat fish I've been doing some and a lot of what I've learned is any large species of cat you can't tell till they have reached over 2 ft and then I've red that females will have a much larger head and the obvo they will be bigger in size this is not a dig at all I would just like to see that these beautiful creatures have more educational owners same with arrapima the females are much bigger and have a lot less colour to then also they are this way to protect the males as they will be caring for the babies I hope this is a real help and maby one day you could even start breeding yourself
